[The video flickers on and Ratchet appears on screen. In his hands were, well, a pair of hands. They were of a deep blue hue as well as yellow accents. But yes, just a pair of hands. The old bot looks tired, exhausted from all this.]

Been busy these past few weeks. If anyone needs any assistance with these effects from these strange energon deposits, please come by the Solarian medbay. I will see what I can do. I, myself, was affected by Red Energon, but, I believe my effects are wearing off by now.

[He soon lifts one of those hands up.]

[Ratchet was known to be a hermit, but with this energon nonsense, Ratchet had stayed indoors. It was about time he actually got out and about. Transforming into his alternate form, he raced down out of the Solarian Temple, and into the vast land of Haven.

It was nice to get out. To have a nice drive. Simple, and nothing strenuous.]

I think there's nothing wrong. I checked myself and made sure there were no traces of pink energon left in my systems but I want a second opinion.

[Ratchet huffs but opens the console on his arm, tapping a few buttons before his scanner flickered to life. It started to run it's scan along the surface of KO's frame.]

You don't feel any after effects, do you?

[Knock Out frowns slightly.] That's what red energon does? I think Starscream mentioned it to me once.

[The scanner flickers off and he lowers his arm.]

From what my scanners have collected, you have no traces of pink energon within your system.

That explains how he got them. [Knock Out's frown deepens. He knew that Starscream suddenly finding the last keys they needed out of the blue was suspicious.] Do you still have the crystals?

[Ratchet nodded and pointed to a nearby supply closet.]

Oh. I would like to have a look.[Knock Out stares at the closet the same way a hungry cat would look at a bird.]

I've been getting bad news since I had memory. [There's a sight that goes with that reply. For once, he sounds as old and tired as he is.]

But what else is new when your boss is Megatron? He's not here at the moment but we always have something else to worry about. I've been managing but there just the Kid and me in the clinic and he was sick.

[The drones he got from Shockwave doesn't count, they are very limited. He misses Barricade.]

The kid? You mean Sora? I heard some energon may have affected him?

Yes, it's 'was'. I was only explaining how it felt back then. [He doesn't want anything to do with mr. Crazypants anymore. He glares back at Ratchet, clearly upset.]

Yes, that's right. Nothing seems to fix whatever that crystals caused.

Energon and organics do not mix. [He purses his lips and shakes his head, rubbing his helm.]

If only I learned more about human medicine back on earth,

I am very aware. [He really tried anything he could think of to fix the kid and came out with no solution.]

I learned quite a bit and it's not helping anyway. I can only hope the effect wear off quickly for him too.

[For now, he leans against his nearby desk, rubbing the venter of his helm crest, but he does peer back at Knock Out.]
