If you guessed one Titanium robot, you guessed right. But he's been feeling rather antsy, and hunting the Junkpile as often as he could but still coming up dry. Time to put a call out.]

So... anyone in this place know where there's a guitar? Acoustic'd be preferable, but in this situation I can't really be picky can I? If it's broken, or if you only found parts of one that's okay too... it's more than I've got, and it's not like I can't fix it myself if I needed to.

Any point in the right direction's appreciated.

It's not always connected to our kitchen... sometimes tears between the two places just... show up. Not always to Kazooland either. One of the Walter Girls spent a week stuck in the Dimension of Infinite Yodeling when she went behind the TV to plug the Nintendo in for Rabbit, for example.

Well, if the tear goes unmanaged, then yeah, there can be trouble. It can get bigger, people can wander into them, things can wander out... Luckily there's a large part of Walter Worker training specifically for how to mend those tears! Or who to call if they've already gone past their expertise.

What the yodeling? Probably for the best.

Do you think that said training could help us _{with the} Lambda? After all, it's also a tear in the space-time continuum.

Sad to say I'm not sure. I don't have the same training as they do. But if me being tossed through left anything like a tear back home, they'd be able to find it, maybe do somethin' about it.

Walter? Well, that's the family name, and the business our human family members run, Walter Robotics.

I always wondered if time stops in our world when we left them. It doesn't seem to work the same for everyone here.

Sounds a bit like what Sari's father does. Mr. Walter makes a living out of creating A.Is?

Well not really. Some of the inventions do wind up being A.I, but given they're powered by Blue Matter, some level of sentience is expected. So they aren't put on the market.

[Because selling sentient things even if you built them was creepy and wrong as far as the Walters were concerned.]

Only the non-A.I inventions hit the market.

[That Blue Matter sounds an awful lot like the allspark.] And that Blur Matter...where does he find it?

He theorized that it was what held our reality together. And given how many rifts crop up around large amounts of blue matter leaks, it's not entirely a theory without merit.

He always said it'd be like selling family members. Never was one for that sort of thing.

Not at all. Your world, what was it called? I thought you were from Earth because you have humans characteristics but now I realize Ii might have assumed wrong.

I'm glad to know he saw you all like that.

Earth actually. San Diego California to be more specific.

He saw us as family. Might not be how society saw or sees things, but... well these things are slow going sometimes, and there's not a lot of us, so most people don't even realize that robotic rights are an issue yet.

I...keep forgetting that not all Earth are the same out there.

I've realized that while individuals can be amazing and open minded, societies as a whole have a distinctive lack of heart and, sometimes, brains too.

People as a group... sometimes they aren't the smartest, got that right. But hopefully they'll figure it out.

Ah, but let's talk about something less depressing. Do you like reading?

Trion's library is HUGE. Really, I think 1/4 of his temple is filled with books from all around the universe. I bet there's books about music too.

Well, think I'll have to take a look around once I've figured out the guitar situation.

What about you, you a big reader?

[Blurr nods.] I always liked learning new things and it was a key in my line of work back home.

That's true! I started to read more fiction. Now I have more free time than before and Trion's Library had all sort of interesting books.
