Video [Transmission Originating from: Solian Temple]

[The video flicks on, to a view of a purple-and-silver mech with a very distinctive (and very red) V-shaped visor. He's poking and prodding around the glyph on his arm delicately, like it might explode in his face if he so much as looks at it too hard. He looks back to the camera after a moment.]

I was in the middle of something. Those lights aren't going to re-activate themselves.

[He pauses and ducks his head after saying that.] Sorry. I guess it will just have to wait until I get back... whenever.

Uhm. Could someone maybe... maybe tell me more about this? [He taps the symbol on his arm. He's sure it has something to do with where he is because he doesn't get overcharged often enough to have had this tattooed on.]

And if someone could tell me where the other vehicons are I'd. Really appreciate it. Thank you.

Not very well. We're supposed to overwhelm others with our numbers, but... well, you said I'm alone here. And I haven't been on many field missions in a long time, sir.

[Sir isn't really needed. But the important thing now is getting to this mech, and really with the Driller it only takes him a moment or two.]

Oh. All right, s... Shockwave. I'll try to remember to.

[He's just used to addressing officers are 'sir'. Probably because that way he's not distinguished from the other vehicons.

Is that a giant metal snake with tentacles or are you just happy to see him?]

[Oh he's definitely happy to see you.

Shockwave exits the Driller, making his way over to Fracas. The mech is even smaller in person.]

Fracas.

[He doesn't mean to loom, really.]

[Fracas backs up a little from Shockwave and the Driller both, and looks up... and up.

Even Megatron isn't that tall.]

Shockwave.

[They grow them big where you're from, don't they?]

[To be fair he's always been one of the bigger ones. But they do build 'em brutal, if that wasn't obvious from his giant cannon arm and the large blade on his other arm. Without warning he scoops Fracas up by his waist.]

You will be under my care until you are capable of defending yourself.

[Fracas yipes in surprise as Shockwave picks him up. Big mech, big weapons, strange armor, and... wait. What?]

I'm sorry?

[Did Shockwave just imply he's going to keep an eye on him until he can fight?]

[What passes for a brow above Shockwave's single optic, raises slightly.]

Were your audial receptors damaged in your arrival?

N-no. Not to my knowledge... just. No one has ever done something like... that.

You lack the ability to fight, in addition it would not be logical to allow the Autobots a free kill of one of ours, simply because you were not taught correctly.

[And he's bored. There isn't enough fighting for him so training someone will have to do.]

Well when you put it that way. I mean... thank you, sir. Shockwave.

[The fact that anyone would that for a Vehicon for any reason at all is impressive for him.]

Small as you are, every addition to the cause counts.

[He's just going to walk towards home now, Fracas in his arm. Maybe he'll use the Driller again in a bit, but he'll give the mech some time to talk and ask questions.]

I'm almost as tall as Starscream. Well, my Starscream, I guess. When he's hunched over...

So, uh. Which temple do you live in?

[He probably ought to call Knock Out at some point and let him know where he is, and that will be easier if he knows where he's going.]

Huh. [Megatronus? Odd name. Actually...] Sounds a little like Megatron.

It does, but he is far from a Megatron. He is a Prime, and larger than I am. I would suggest you do not upset him if you ever encounter him.

Of course. I wouldn't... wouldn't dream of it. Upsetting him, I mean. It's not. Something I'm good at either way.

[He's bad at being something other than outlandishly polite.]

I'm definitely going to keep in mind that he isn't Megatron. My Megatron, at least...
