[Some people, upon discovering they'd been magically uprooted from wherever they were and mysteriously transported to a weird almost-but-not-quite Cybertron against their will, would probably be angry. At the very least they might be annoyed, maybe a little frustrated or panicked. This guy seems to be the exception. He looks a bit puzzled, sure, but he also looks MAYBE a little too calm and cheerful for someone in his position.

Oookay, from what I understand so far, it's probably safe to assume that you're all pretty used to confused new people popping up from time to time. I think I'm caught up on the basics, so I hope to avoid the whole panicking stage. Actually, everything I've heard so far is pretty fascinating. Just, you know, a little jarring. I have a few theories, but... well, I'll save them for when I have a better idea of what to expect here. The Acolyte I spoke to didn't give me too much information to work with. Well wait... okay, that's not true. I mean, it was pretty informative over all, but there isn't really a whole lot I can do with what they told me other than accept it. I don't like to complain, but it wasn't really all that helpful in a day-to-day life sort of sense.

The only helpful advice I can offer is to brace yourself for when strange things happen around here, which happens more often than I would care for.

Ah, I'm still in the process of working them out. The one I had about this being some kind of weird multidimensional afterlife was already shot down, considering people can apparently come and go out of the blue.

Not a bad theory, considering there have been a few who thought along that same line when they first arrive. [Her being one of them.] Though they tend to leave out the "multidimensional" part.

Well, I've already spoken to someone who apparently dropped out of some kind of mirror universe, so multidimensional just seemed to fit.

Oh I do not doubt the multidimensional draw of the Lambda now. I was referring to when people first arrive.

Is it so hard a thing for people to believe?

For those who came from worlds where it was uncommon to think of life beyond their planet much less their own universe, than yes. [She gives a bit of a shrug.]

But after spending some time here, they quickly start to believe. [Like her.]

Considering that this world is meant for mechanical life forms, you are correct about it not being friendly to those of flesh and blood. It's not ideal, but we can survive by scavenging supplies that the Lambda drops from time to time, and there is a garden growing by one of the temples.

That's good, at least. I'm a little surprised that someone was able to get a garden growing here at all.

It's actually quite easy to get one start as long as there is water and light. With the lake and the light from Prima's temple, there is a steady supply of both.

There is also the Hub where a lot of the supplies for both Cybertronians and organics usually end up there.

Things like that show up through the Lambda, right? Seems pretty random.

Yes, but the Hub was built by other refugees. A lot of usable supplies found in the Junk Pile ends up there because that is were a lot of people tend to hang around.

Makes sense. Where is the Hub, exactly?

It has several functions, but people mainly use it for the bar.

I don't find that surprising in the least, honestly.

It seems the idea of having a place to get intoxicated is a constant across cultures and dimensions.

Yeah, no kidding. I wonder if there's some sort of connection.

The only connection I see is that if there is a sign of intelligence in a species, there are going to be several members of that species who will want to impair themselves. Which makes me wonder about intelligent life is really all that intelligent...

It likely has nothing to do with one's intelligence. Maybe that's just how they choose to cope with stressful situations?
