[video] And then there's this loser
[Some people, upon discovering they'd been magically uprooted from wherever they were and mysteriously transported to a weird almost-but-not-quite Cybertron against their will, would probably be angry. At the very least they might be annoyed, maybe a little frustrated or panicked. This guy seems to be the exception. He looks a bit puzzled, sure, but he also looks MAYBE a little too calm and cheerful for someone in his position.
Oh, the video's recording! Excellent. He claps his hands together in that 'let's get down to business' sort of way.]
Oookay, from what I understand so far, it's probably safe to assume that you're all pretty used to confused new people popping up from time to time. I think I'm caught up on the basics, so I hope to avoid the whole panicking stage. Actually, everything I've heard so far is pretty fascinating. Just, you know, a little jarring. I have a few theories, but... well, I'll save them for when I have a better idea of what to expect here. The Acolyte I spoke to didn't give me too much information to work with. Well wait... okay, that's not true. I mean, it was pretty informative over all, but there isn't really a whole lot I can do with what they told me other than accept it. I don't like to complain, but it wasn't really all that helpful in a day-to-day life sort of sense.
So! Um. Anyway, my name is Drift. If anyone happens to have any helpful tips for a new arrival, I'd love to hear them. And... I think that's all I've got! Thanks for your time.

Ah, actually, I'm sorry, but I don't remember being here before.
[And now he's self conscious about his bunny ears augh how uncool]
Yeah that's...been happening a lot recently. It's okay! It's not your fault I mean...just one of those things.
[Look at that face drop momentarily.]
I'm Kay. And...you're on a planet called Cybertron. I think it's your homeworld back home, right?
Heh, home back home. Sounds kinda redundant!
Yes, that's right. That much was easy to figure out. but I imagine it's going to take some getting used to. Kay, was it? You're from Earth, right?
[Or Japan. You know. EASY MISTAKE by game localizations.]
You ever been?
City of Angels? The place with the smog?
Because...I think I'd notice a guy like you...
Where are you at?

And sticking the landing while she's at it. YEAH. You can thank Kagerou for that one.]
Mr. Bunny?

You're gonna keep calling me that no matter what I say, aren't you?
no subject
Maybe if you lost the ears.

[dammit now he's prodding at one these totally don't look like ears do they]
no subject
[To emphasize, she puts her hands up to her head, wiggling them and giving a little hop.]
no subject
Well, we're just gonna have to agree to disagree.
[he'll let her keep the nickname though. It's probably the least ridiculous thing he's come across so far anyway]
no subject
Alternatively.
You can accept your bunny fate.

[Don't mind her, she's just starting to climb you. It's a thing she does.]
So you're...not the same one who was here before? 've had that happen...ngh. A lot.
no subject
I honestly don't know if I'm the "same one", or if I just don't have any memory of this place. I'm sorry to hear that, though. It must be frustrating.
no subject
It's okay. I've been here almost two years, you learn to get used to people leaving.
no subject
I'm sure that doesn't make it any easier... I- What are you doing?
[look he's afraid you're going to fall okay. He lowers a hand for her to climb into or something.]
no subject
[The hand's appreciated though, as she steps onto it.]
Do you need a tour of the place or something?
no subject
[don't mind him bringing you up to eye level, missy]
I wouldn't mind one! If you're not busy, that is.
