Video [Origin in Alpha Trion's temple]
[The video feed is turned on, focusing on the face of a large, white mech with a very distinctly... worried and concerned expression. Guys, guys he was just under several feet of ice guys how did this happen what is this even-]
I have learned a few things from the ah... acolytes within this temple, but I have more questions for those who have been brought here.
My name is Skyfire, is there anyone here who would recognize that name?
[He's not going to mention any names specifically, but there's a definite hopeful lift to his tone.]
I'm looking for any other Autobots there may be out there as well... Even if I do not know you now, I would still like to learn more about you. It isn't necessary of course, but... it seems only right that we all get to know each other.

Perceptor? Perceptor is here? That is wonderful news! Is he well? ... Ah, excuse me, I should be asking about you as well.
You ah... What is your name?
[He tilts his helm, wondering now in earnest why they don't actually share a designation, even if there apparently is, going by the conversation with Mirage, a "Jetfire" in another dimension.]
Jetfire. It seems... somehow, that despite seeimingly being alternates, we do not share a designation. Which, previously others who have had alternates appearing here have done, curiously enough.
[Frowning, Jetfire rubbed his chin.]
And with the reasonably wide variety in designs across four discrete dimensions of these alternates, I don't think the aesthetic design could explain why we aren't sharing a name...
[worry worry worryyyyyyyy]
It is very strange. I... assumed that there would be multiples, and it is clear that we are both relatively the same. I wonder what could have caused the differences.
[Not 100%, he isn't going to say, because you never know absolutely. But reasonably sure, yes.]
Indeed. I'm doubtful the close similarity would have any bearing on it, so the reason might be more immaterial than that... Which also will make it harder to find unfortunately.
[He'll just assume the best, okay?]
Unfortunately. But I'm sure we will be able to find something.
[He grimaces for a moment, and glances back. There's a distinct cracking sound, and he looks back at the camera again.]
My apologies, I still have some ice on my wings...
[Jetfire nods, about to probably say something, but the mention of ice distracts him, and he frowns.]
Ice..? Are you all right? I know that it can be a quite... er, annoying substance. I'm not sure we have anything like CR chambers around, but if there's ice beneath your armour you might want a medic to have a look.
[The concern, obviously, is warranted; ice underneath plating and around and inside sensitive workings are a serious thing. The slightly twitching wings barely visible behind Jetfire's shoulders, and them slowly drooping downwards is perhaps... less warranted.]
[The sound you're hearing is him trying to flex his wings. It's not working that well.]
I may have a little bit of ice beneath my armor, I cannot tell at the moment.
Good. At least the immediate area isn't cold enough that the thawing ice should freeze again... I'm frankly glad we do not have water in the same amount as on Earth... Quite a few problems would come from that.
[That makes Jetfire frown again.]
I hope you don't, it's very... uncomfortable. And can inflict quite a bit of damage.
[As he's noticed himself, since he did get a nicely compiled list of what the CR chamber had repaired while also thawing him.]
Hm... well then I am sure I would be aware of it. Aside from my wings I feel no real discomfort at the moment.
[A nod, and while it technically doesn't impact him, it does feel somewhat more... close than otherwise, considering this is, as far as can be reasonably assumed, an alternate of himself.]
You weren't frozen for long, then?
[Really, he should stop inquiring, but there's a sort of... itch, to know.]
Ah... Well, the second time no. I assume I've only been under for a few earth days.
[Jetfire trails off, staring quietly. A second time? He'd been frozen twice? The memory of the.... glitch, the dream, whatever it had been, even if Jetfire doesn't trust it comes back, that sense of being cold and unable to move ghosting along.]
You've been frozen twice? [It's subdued, and Jetfire's frowning.] It has happned once for me. Not an experience I'd care to repeat.
[He just nods, looking grim]
Yes. The first time I was trapped for... ah... ten million of earths years, I have been told. Unfortunately I was knocked into it a second time by... er, by a Decepticon.
[Jetfire's expression tightens and then his optics widen slightly again at the mention of the number of years.]
... Ten million Earth years? Even with the difference in how we count years that... is a long time. I, ah. Was "only" trapped for... hmmm... perhaps around 31 vorns.
[Grim, indeed. And for some reason Jetfire remembers Starscream shooting him with the null-ray in that hidden pit pops up, and he shakes his helm.]
Unfortunate. At least it was merely a few days, though even that would be too long.
Any amount of time trapped beneath the ice is far too long. I should be thankful that I slipped into stasis, the cold can be dangerous.
In any case, I am free now, and for that I am thankful. As soon as I thaw entirely, I am sincerely looking forward to a chance to fly again, it has been far too long.
[And then Jetfire's expression grows dark and he nods, crossing his arms as his wings, once again, dip downwards.]
Indeed it is. I'm relived you had that, since being aware even a short length of time and unable to get out of it would be unpleasant.
[He speaks evenly and shakes his helm slightly, managing to keep any implication in tone or - hopefully - word choice that this is what happened. He had only very reluctantly and very conciously went into first periods of recharge and then stasis lock.]
Ah, yes. It's quite... spectacular to be able to fly over Cybertron again, even if this is not our Cybertron. [This is a much more pleasant subject, really. Jetfire smiles slightly.]
Strangely enough, I haven't been able to get into complete space flight, which I am capable of, and which you seem to share as well? I would surmise it has something to do with the Lambda affecting the space-time around this Cybertron itself...
[But yes let's talk about nice things like flying! Much better!]
It will be interesting to see if there are any familiar landmarks on the planets surface...
Ah, yes, I can achieve space flight, you say it is impossible to get out of the atmosphere currently? How strange, yes the Lambda has to have something to do with it, I don't see why we wouldn't be able to get out otherwise. Tell me, what happens if you attempt to leave?
Ah, that's... interesting. When I left on my mission, the war had already been going for... millions of vorns, and I was involved from the beginning.
[Not just on the same side as he's now.]
There might be, but this Cybertron is very young. The only actual full buildings are, presumably, here at the Haven, which our... er, hosts have built. And yes, there seems to be something inhibiting true space flight presently. I've achieved orbit, but that's as far as I came.
[Jetfire shifts on his feet, crossing his arms while making sure the arm with the screen he's broadcasting from is on top.]
A similar force to gravity, I'd say, but pushing from both above and beyond. Like being unable to leave the gravity-well, despite that we should have the capacity for this... My engines momentarily failed when I attempted to press the issue, so I had to satisfy myself with achieveing orbit.
I suppose I'll just have to be happy with orbit myself if I wish to fly any higher. It is a shame though, I would have liked to explore the universe at this particular point in time, find the differences in the planets I have visited earlier. It would have been fascinating to see.
[Skyfire himself just looks for a place to take a seat, wings creaking again from the ice trapped in the joints.]
[Jetfire's mumbling throughfully; it's not a critisism, merely an interested addendum to Skyfire's wish to explore said differences.]
[He waves a hand around briefly, meaning to indicae´te not just their immediate surroundings, but the wider planet itself.]
Whether or not we give any weight to any special origin for Cybertron, our planet does seem to be quite singular in its existence as there really are no exact analogues to compare even a possible natural development and formation.
[And, if you gave even the vaguest of attention to such imprecise and foolish lines as "and from Primus, around it, Cybertron rose, to give a place of rest as well as origin" from the Covenant of Primus... that might imply a very non-natural origin. But of that, there really was no proof.]
[See: The first forged]
I'm sure that at least one of them would have a far more educated answer to give us.
[Pausing, Jetfire frowns thoughtfully.]
After that, access to space, or equipment to calculate the age of this universe would be required to establish how much time has passed in this reality, compared with any other given one...
[The idea is rather facinating, really.]
I am sure that they would have the power to at least assist in giving us the equipment to date, if not explore the universe.
