[Hello Haven.  Have a familiar face for at least some of you.  Wing has left the temple.  It's clear he's got a lot on his mind; this city, what the Acolytes told him, that he's even alive, is a lot to take in.  He decides to start with what he knows he'll need.]

I can't really complain, since my last memories were of dying. I'm certainly not going to turn down a second chance.

As far as familiar faces...? One, though he doesn't entirely look as I remember him, and apparently I was here before and knew a few others that I apparently don't remember. [a shrug.] I guess I'll get to know them...again.

I know that feeling. Though it turns out I apparently wasn't as dead as I thought I was, according to a friend of mine who's from a bit farther along than me, time wise.

Yeah. From what I understand, that happens around here sometimes. Just part of the local variety of weirdness; you eventually get used to it. Mostly.

Always nice to see a friendly face in a strange world, though, even if it does look different than you'd expect. I've got two friends from back home here myself. One was already here when I arrived, the other one showed up later.

I've been told I would, I'm not so sure. [he looks amused...and okay, maybe a little worried. This is all strange and he's not had much time yet to process things.]

Yeah. Almost as weird as knowing someone's from the past. I've got one friend in either direction around here.

It's... not most people's favorite thing, for obvious reasons. But since we can't really do anything about it, there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of point in fretting about it, so... [shrugs]

Yeah. Didn't get a chance to actually spend much time with either of mine back home, so this it's been nice to just be able to hang out with them around here in between bouts of crazy stuff.

This is true. Fretting and getting used to it are rather different, though.

[he nods] I'm looking forward to getting more time with the one I know here. I'd only known him for a few weeks back home. I'm looking forward to getting to know other here...again in some cases it seems.

Yeah. But not doing the former tends to help you do the latter. Least it does for me. [shrugs]

Ventus I only really knew for about a day before we both met back up here. Feels longer, though, now that we're both back together here. He can't kick my ass nearly as easily now as he did then, though.

And you too, huh? We seem to have an unusual number of people returning sans memories lately. Wonder if that means anything.

Well, I've been watching the comms, and- including yourself- there've been at least four in the past couple weeks. Now, it's not that unusual to get that many new people in a relatively short span of time, but usually they're completely new, as in they've never been here before. Prior to this I've seen maybe one or two people come back sans memories the whole time I've been here.

[shrugs] Might just be a coincidence. But it still strikes me as weird, you know?
