[Hello Haven.  Have a familiar face for at least some of you.  Wing has left the temple.  It's clear he's got a lot on his mind; this city, what the Acolytes told him, that he's even alive, is a lot to take in.  He decides to start with what he knows he'll need.]

Hello.  If anyone could tell me of a decent place to stay, I'd really appreciate it.

Between the lectures and the one sided sparring matches, no, I suppose it didn't.

[he's not complaining. If anything, he looks amused by it]

But yeah. All I've really seen of it was the bar, but this is the place.

[Wing smirked, studying Drift.] You needed both at the time.

Perhaps later we'll have to see if those matches are still one-sided.

[Wing looked over the place. It's a big, sprawling complex. An atrium, a bar, a...place for organics to eat? Is that what that part was? And the living quarters looked to be over that way, well aware from the potentially noisy places.]

I must say, I'm impressed so far.

[sure he brags NOW but just wait until he ends up on his ass again.
Drift wandered off a few steps, having a look around for himself, taking in little details he'd over looked during his last visit]

[He laughs] You? Lazy? Even with how you've changed I'd never have even thought you'd be lazy. We'll just have to see if that training is enough.

[He nods as he wanders slowly after Drift, looking around. He takes note of the bar he'll be meeting Thundercracker at later.] It is. A place for relaxation and communion with others...practically right in the middle of the city if the map I was given earlier is correct.

[He's not sure of what to think of that junk pile nearby, though...what a place to put a central hangout...]

I'm looking forward to it, but for now, let's worry about getting you settled in.

I'm sure it can get lively around here, but I doubt it will be anywhere near as rowdy as the last ship I was on was. To be fair though, I think people deliberately pushed the limits of what they could get away with just because we had Ultra Magnus on board.

[which would have been an amusing thought had it not reminded him of everything that had happened prior to his arrival in Haven. it's a bit distracting]

[Nope, he doesn't know how awesome the junk pile is, just knows it seems an odd place to put the Hub by.]

I'm sure it can, but the living quarters seems set apart enough that it shouldn't matter if it does. [He heads for the atrium.]

[that's okay Drift doesn't know how awesome it is either. They can be losers together.]

I wonder if the walls are soundproofed. I know resources are limited here, so I don't know if they'd have the materials for something like that.

[WHOOP Wing's getting away, Drift hurries to catch up]

[the atrium looks inviting, vaulted ceiling, mirrors for reflecting light, sitting areas for Cybertronians and organics. He notes the empty planter boxes and wonders what they're for, they almost seem a little out of place, but he imagines they've got to be there for a reason.]

We'll test them, when we get over there. Might as well know for sure, right?

This looks like a relaxing place, inviting.

It's a lot less intimidating than the temple. I think I might stay here after all. If I'm honest, I don't know how to feel about the First Forged anyway. Who's to say the temples are even safe?

[And that is exactly why Wing's first contact to the inhabitants of this city was to ask if there was another place to stay.]

I don't know enough about this place or the First Forged to judge that yet, but I'd rather start apart from them a bit and choose to move closer than find myself too close to start with.

Understandable, I'm starting to think that's the best approach. I haven't heard very much about the First Forged myself, but I've been told that Megatronus and Liege are problematic. They allowed a Phase Sixer and a couple members of the D.J.D. rampage through here at one point, I'm told.

[he actually isn't sure if Wing's familiar with the terms, considering he was camped out in Crystal City for so long]

[From the curious look Drift may guess that Wing doesn't know what he's talking about.] That doesn't sound like a good thing. ["Rampage" never sounded like a good thing...]

[Drift catches the look. he doesn't mind a quick explanation.]

Phase Sixers were among Megatron's strongest soldiers. A single Phase Sixer was able to massacre 3,003 Autobots, not to mention an entire planet and it's three billion inhabitants. That was... Black Shadow, I think. D.J.D. stands for Decepticon Justice Division. Basically, their job is to track down traitors and deserters and torture them to death.

So no, it wasn't a good thing. Not at all. I'm amazed that the people here were able to stop them.

[Wing is scowling at the explanation. He'd been saying for some time that the Circle couldn't hide from the war forever, that there were people out there that needed help, their people were out there in need of help from those from either faction who only looked to kill. Well, nothing he could do now. He was dead to the Circle now, and here besides. Drift did say that Dai Atlas had raised the city, perhaps they were, or had, don't good for those in need.]

Primus...and these are two of the ones supposedly protecting us... [he rubs a hand down his face and tries to stop frowning. Something to look into later...]

I've no idea what could have possibly possessed them to do such a thing. The fact that people like the D.J.D. can just show up at any time is bad enough, but it sounds like we're on our own when it comes to defending ourselves.

[Drift looks more worried than scowly (that's a word now). It's kind of a lot to be worried about, especially where the D.J.D. is concerned since, y'know, he's an ex-Con and all]

[He and who else? He finds himself wondering who or what draws them here at all...]

[Well...if something comes up while he's here, he'll be doing what he can to help defend those who can't defend themselves.]

[For now...he wanted to see if there were any rooms open for Cybertronians.]

Let's see if we can claim a room here.

[and BOOM Drift instantly cheers up. Pretends to, anyway. The smile's too goofy looking to be legit but HEY it was time for a better topic. He claps his hands together enthusiastically.]

Right, good idea! That's why we came out here, isn't it?

[That sudden and goofy grin gets an amused look from Wing. It's almost weird to see that look on the bot's face, not to mention that silly clapping.]

It is. C'mon. [will head out for the habitation wing of the Hub.]

[He will, but until he does it'll amuse him. Maybe even after he's used to it.]

[That question makes him pause...and then shrug.] Either is fine with me. Up to you.

[He's spent the last few weeks sharing a room with Drift. The bot sulked about it the whole time, but Wing had been put in charge of making sure Drift stayed not only in the city, but away from anyone else outside of the Circle of Light. Putting the runaway Decepticon in his room had just made sense. If this much more bubbly Drift wanted to share a room again, Wing had no reason to complain or object.]

Well, when I have time to myself, I usually prefer to spend it alone...

[but then there was the whole being paranoid thing and he's thinking he'd rather have Wing close by? Damn he isn't sure.]

I don't think I'd mind sharing space with you, though. It wouldn't be the first time.

[Wing smiled.] Just because we may choose to share a room, doesn't mean we have to spend all of our time together...not like before. [His smile turns a little wry at that, but only to cover his....guilt at having to keep Drift where he didn't want to be...having to hold him prisoner because Wing had decided to save his life.]

Well right, obviously! I'm not planning on spending all of my time cooped up here.

[psh Drift got over that a long time ago, bro. He waves a hand dismissively.]

[Wings nods.] Good, neither do I.

[And stop being paranoid that he's going to disappear again. He's...w-well he had no intention of dying either, but yyyyeah...okay, fine, be justifiably paranoid. Guh!]

[He steps into the habitation wing and looks around. Well....may as well start checking doors. He'll knock...if there's no answer he'll try the handle. If it's unlocked he'll peek in, if it looks uninhabited he'll step in to check it out. It'll take a try or two to find and open room. He steps in and looks away. It's a nice room, cozy without really feeling small.]

Drift hovers in the door way and looks the room over. He rather likes it, it's roomier than the last place he stayed, anyway, even with two of them there.]

The walls could use a little work, but it's not bad. What do you think?
