[Video] - Vector's temple

[Some of you might be familiar with the noise of metal crunching as it hits something after falling at least a short distance, and Cliffjumper grunts, swears and, after a few moments, gets the video on.

It's mostly Cliffjumper's faceplate and upper torso that can be seen, plus a view of the sky and some spire-tops of Vector's temple, though he's looking slightly... wild-eyed.]

... Slaggin', rusty, scum-spewin' scrap! [The view wobbles as Cliffjumper changes his grip, then stabilises again.] Anyone else got stuck with somethin' new poppin' up courtsey of your glyphs?

Blurr, how the frag did ya get a handle on this?

[... there's a pause, and Cliffjumper half looks like he's about to say something more but then closes his mouth. Not yet. He'll... Well.]

I have the feeling that curiosity has a lot to do with it.

... Yeah. Which would make sense considerin' his job before comin' here. [Snorting, Cliffjumper rolled his optics.] Fraggin' spies.

[There was some amount of affection in there, but still. Spies, man.]

I guess some habits are hard to let go of.

Yeah... whether it's a good idea or not, to do that. [He can admit that much, though that's not necessarily in relation to Blurr but rather the issue of letting go of the war, of the need to carry his weapons and his wariness.]

Thanks for checkin' on me though... at least I know there were a few mechs around that coulda picked me up if Starscream hadn't been here.

[Have a lopsided little grin, Skyfire.]

Don't mention it. That's what friends are for, right?

Heh, true! [He grins and then shrugs.] Just lucky I do have that.

[Because that's not a given thing, really.]

I'd offer to do the same for ya if somethin' happened... if that was at all feasible. [The grin turns somewhat dry and lopsided.] But I'd do what I could.

I'm sure. And there are things you are much better than I am, too.

Yeah, like what? Shootin' people?

[He doesn't sound particularly annoyed or even self-deprecating, just dryly amused as he snorts.]

I know some stuff 'bout chemistry too, but never went too far with that even if it can be interestin'. Just enough to replicate my glass gas.

Well... yes, I was mostly thinking about shooting people.

[And then he tilts his head.]

... I think glass gas is interesting.

[He grins at that and shrugs. It's true, after all.]

I am pretty good at it, even if that technically ain't a good thing. [He doesn't sound particularly concerned about it, since the issue in a possible post-war situation isn't being good at shooting people, it's being able to settle down.]

Got a formula for the artificial version... guess I could give it to ya if you want. Ain't exactly like what I do; not as strong, but otherwise... [Shrug.]

Sometimes it's a necessary thing, I've found. Even if I don't particularly enjoy it.

[But then he immediately perks up again.] You would? Thank you!

Not so strange. Necessary as it might be right now [a pause as the "right now" doesn't exactly make any sense for their exact location and situation, Cliffjumper shakes his helm and gestures with a hand in the air. You know what he means.] doesn't mean everybody has to like it even if they do the right thing and help with it.

[Then he smiles, slightly lopsidedly.]

Yeah, sure. Shared it with Starscream when they needed it to get the flight platform for the Ark down, so why not with you.
