[Alright, so, investigating Hub on his own and then making it back to Vector Prime's place had turned out to be a spectacular failure of an idea, once he'd realized how much webbing he'd go through trying to speed up the travel time. And while he probably could have asked for help, he didn't want to risk the suspicion that would arise from Spidey then asking for a ride back to Vector Prime's temple not long before Peter Parker "arrived." So, he'd kept his head low for a few days before arriving...again, really.

Except this time, it wasn't the wallcrawler addressing the camera, it was puny Peter Parker, Totally Normal Human Teenager. Trying his best to look as though he'd just arrived, and in his defense? He pulled off "clueless" pretty well. Mostly because he'd had plenty of practice.]

Aunt May is so gonna kill me...

...hello? Is this thing working? I don't know if anyone can hear me, but if you can...little help? Please?

Last I checked, my curfew's up in ten minutes, and I'm pretty sure the nearest bus route's a few light years away.

[He also points the camera at his arm to reveal Vector Prime's glyph prominently featured on the forearm of his right arm, just above the wrist]

I also don't know how I'm going to explain this to my Aunt in a way that doesn't get me grounded for at least the rest of my natural life.

That doesn't make any sense. If I got here in the first place, I should be able to go back. Can't you just talk to those hooded guys, robot to robot, and convince them to send me home?

I mean, I don't know what anyone has to gain by kidnapping a sixteen year old high school student. I'm not even sure I'd be able to do your homework, let alone whatever else you've got planned!

[Have a sympathetic smile.] I'm afraid I'm as stuck here as you are. I arrived here not long ago myself. It's a lot to deal with, I know, but you're going to be all right. It may take a little while to get used to, but you won't be facing this alone. Besides, no one is asking you to do anything. [well...right now. He gets that they're here for a reason, likely, but the First Forged aren't here to question about that...]

You should have been given a place to stay in the temple you're at now, or if you prefer there's a more central area in the city where you can stay.

Is it smaller? Because I felt small enough back home, I'd kinda be more at home living someplace I don't need an elevator to reach the doorbell.

[Granted, he could technically just climb up the walls, but, SEEKRITS.]

So why are we here? I got the whole tear-in-space-time explanation already, but if it's really that random I don't see why this place isn't overflowing already.

[Is it? He doesn't know. All he knows is this room in the temple is pretty freaking empty, so overcrowding probably isn't a thing they have to deal with yet.]

There are living spaces at the Hub made for smaller life forms.

Why? I wish I knew. I'm not entirely convinced it's random, but I've not been here long enough to know much about it yet.

Sounds like my kind of place, then. Plus, giant, empty, alien buildings are just kind of...creepy.

[Well not completely empty, but the Acolytes aren't the most conversational people on the planet.]

[he laughs] It's not empty if I'm living in it, but I can understand how so much room could be unsettling.

Pretty far if you're at one of the temples. I can give you a ride if you'd like. [you'd be sitting in his hand, he's not built for organic passengers.]

I think he should be getting here soon enough, so I don't think I'd need another ride. I appreciate the offer though, for what that's worth.

[He nods, confident this new guy will be safe.] Drift is a good mech, he'll make sure you make it here safely.

I dunno, the guy turns into a street racer. "Safely" might describe my physical condition upon arrival, but anyone who turns into a car like that probably doesn't travel in a way that "safely" can be applicable to.

Not that I'm complaining. Fastest you could ever hope to go back home was maybe 35. Traffic seems to be less of a problem here.

[Wing laughs] Drift is certainly a fast mech, but also skilled.

If you're really up for a ride I'm sure he'd be happy to show off.
