Arright then, story time with Gunmax.

Anyway, like I said. I got a partner right after I came online. Name was Kirisaki, seemed like a pretty cool guy, right? He showed me the ropes and all that good shit. Wasn't always the best influence, but I didn't really care. I thought he was cool as hell.

[He glances at Kagerou, half to see if he was following, half because hey why the hell not.]

Turns out he had a little side job none of the rest of us knew about. He was sellin' police equipment to local gangs. I ended up finding out about it, but I didn't tell anyone. I was an idiot, thinking he'd turn himself in because it was the right thing to do. Someone else in the department ended up ratting him out, and he was fired. He still blamed me for it. Didn't believe me when I, y'know, said I had nothing to do with it. Real winner, that guy.
