[The feed that opens is staticky, coming as it is from the outer edges of the network's range, and bears a face that should be familiar to many. Upon closer inspection though, one might notice this Wing is a little rougher around the edges compared to recent newer arrivals. His glyph too, is a brilliant Vectorian gold edged with a strong violet glow. A touch of concern marks Wing's face as he looks right and left before speaking into the feed. The jet is clearly wary of his surroundings.]

Haveners! It's been quite a long time. I wish happier news brought me to this, but alas, the recent disruption of the Lamdba affects us all.

[Behind Wing, over his shoulder, there's a stealthy, disturbingly flesh colored shape slithering down the slope on all fours.]

We hope--

[There's a flash of steel and white and red behind the jet: Drift doing what he does best, which is, apparently, slicing things into sushi, the two--the whatever-it-is and Drift--disappearing offscreen in a grunting flail.]

[The sound of combat rings out off screen, grabbing Wing's attention. The feed is jostled as he almost ends it--clearly Wing is tempted to join the fray--but he seems to change his mind at the last moment.]

Please. Please be wary if you leave the Haven. The wastelands is strewn with foreign debris and creatures stranger than ever roam the land!

[Yeah, and on that note... Drift appears--victorious, of course--holding what appears to be a severed head--actually two, one a smaller, almost vestigial one like a goiter from the neck of the main one--into the camera's range. ]

Anyone else running into these , for example?

Wait, wait. Maybe this is like the thing with the different Starscreams and Ratchets. Maybe we're just from different universes or something.

That... sounds ridiculous, but it makes slightly more sense. Which also sounds ridiculous.

[For a second he's honestly not sure who to interrupt, there's so much Drift~~ing~~ going on here it makes his processor spin. If Wing weren't standing right next to his Drift, this would so much harder.]

Now, now, gentlemechs. Is this entirely necessary?

[Maybe not necessary but amusing as heck. It's taking all of Wing's self control to keep a straight face.]

You might have something in that theory of yours.

[Forgive him, he's facepalming over here and redoubling his effort to find his roommate. Had the other Wing not spoken up, he would have. Probably best, for now, to let just one....him handle this.]

I am so incredibly confused right now, and frankly, it's throwing my energies completely out of whack.

It could be an alternate universe thing or... or a different timeline thing? I've heard of that happening here before.

[He flashes a smile at you, just in case you were going to say 'yes'.]

You mean like those that arrive who share the same name but not the same world? Like the two Megatrons?

Yeah, like the two Ratchets and the two Starscreams. Two Megatrons, though, I hadn't heard about that.

[Everything is indeed Weird. He's seen worse, though. At least neither of these two alternates seem evil ~~despite certain speculations~~. Given that he's spent a week as his evil alternate AND looking like Drift? Yeah. It could be far worse.]

We had three Starscreams at one point. [You have no idea what herding that many Starscreams is like.] One of the Megatrons was reverse polarity. The other....well. He was ours. But young. And apparently had been swayed by a version of me in another place.

So, I would say your theory is correct, at least in the basics of it. The chaos at work here, when it takes us from our worlds, must leave copies behind somehow...

[Which is...pretty creepy. But also reassuring in a way. That people at home aren't fretting over some loss. Which in his case would just be, well, a body.]

That's... I don't know how I feel about that. Like, any of that.
