[The feed that opens is staticky, coming as it is from the outer edges of the network's range, and bears a face that should be familiar to many. Upon closer inspection though, one might notice this Wing is a little rougher around the edges compared to recent newer arrivals. His glyph too, is a brilliant Vectorian gold edged with a strong violet glow. A touch of concern marks Wing's face as he looks right and left before speaking into the feed. The jet is clearly wary of his surroundings.]

Haveners! It's been quite a long time. I wish happier news brought me to this, but alas, the recent disruption of the Lamdba affects us all.

[Behind Wing, over his shoulder, there's a stealthy, disturbingly flesh colored shape slithering down the slope on all fours.]

We hope--

[There's a flash of steel and white and red behind the jet: Drift doing what he does best, which is, apparently, slicing things into sushi, the two--the whatever-it-is and Drift--disappearing offscreen in a grunting flail.]

[The sound of combat rings out off screen, grabbing Wing's attention. The feed is jostled as he almost ends it--clearly Wing is tempted to join the fray--but he seems to change his mind at the last moment.]

Please. Please be wary if you leave the Haven. The wastelands is strewn with foreign debris and creatures stranger than ever roam the land!

[Yeah, and on that note... Drift appears--victorious, of course--holding what appears to be a severed head--actually two, one a smaller, almost vestigial one like a goiter from the neck of the main one--into the camera's range. ]

Anyone else running into these , for example?

Yes, I've been...managing. Many people left recently all of sudden and we had to reorganize things but we been trying out best.

And what about you? Did you find what you were looking for?

[It would hurt Wing, too, in that instance. And he feels bad for all those who had mistaken the other Wing for him.]

I...heard about that. McCrane...

[This makes him very, very sad. He's just gonna grab onto this happier subject.]

We did, actually! To be honest, we'd found it before, when we went on our getaway after our union. It's what gave us the idea that a different sanctuary could be possible.

He had been here for so long,. I never thought he would disappear too.

[McCrane is a particular sore subject for Blurr as well. They were really close.

But that new information about Barricade brings a smile to his face.]

He was the first person I met here, after waking up in the Junk Pile. We--[He chuckles, a warm memory]--we had a misunderstanding at first, before the language translation kicked in.

[He's going to miss McCrane. A lot.]

It's very humble, even more so than Haven here, but it's ours and it feels safe and we have all the necessities.

A misunderstanding? Can I ask of what sort? He was one of the people i met too and a good friend.

[They can mis shim together and try to cheer up each other.]

God to hear that. How come you came back then?

It's hard to determine friend or foe without language to communicate. The mound of junk we were on was unstable, and he took sudden movements I made as a potential attack. I don't blame him in the least: alien landscape, alien mechaniods he'd never seen before...

[Wing's recollection of the memory is a fond one, how they'd gotten into the trouble and how they'd overcome it.]

Whatever's happened, it concerns me. I was worried for all of you.

Oh that must have been quite the encounter. [He knows that Barricade could be quite violent.] I has a similar meeting with Wheeljack. I was stuck and he tried to get me out of the junk pulling at the spike on my head. [It was really uncomfortable and awkward.]

It was certainly an interesting moment. [He cringes in sympathy.] And yours too. That must have been...yeah. [Awkward.]

How has everything else been, since I've been away?

So much for a first meeting, uh? But we got along quite well in the end. [And Wheeljack learned what to do if he wanted to see Blurr squirm.]

Really busy. Many people left so we had to re-organize shifts at the Police Force, the bar and the Habitation wing.

[And guess who's again doing like, five jobs at the same time.]

That's the benefit of this place though, meeting interesting new people we otherwise wouldn't have. [He chuckles.] Despite how strange the first meetings might be.

[He gets a grim look at that, though. So many more lost.]

I'm...sorry to hear that. I hope things are still managing though, even with less people?

[Blurr, NO.]

And I've met so many interesting one in two years...[Evan talking tigers who wanted to eat him.]

You know me. I always keep moving forward, is the only way to do things I believe.

[But someone has to do all those things!]
