End Game Part Five: The Traitor
While his brethren are out, seeking to destroy the dual incursions of Demons and Unicron...
Liege has waited, patiently.
His goals have always differed from those of the other thirteen, and now that they are distracted he can put forth a bid for his true desire: Control of the Lambda.
He appears on the network standing on a snow-capped balcony, shadowed by the near-perpetual darkness of his frigid towers.
"Listen, and listen well. To fight is hopeless. We have no guarantee of Primus's return, and we have even less guarantee that we can hold our own against this dual-sided assault. There is another way."
From the top of his tower, Liege raises his arm...and the snow-clouds above him disperse, whipping small flakes across the scene as the Lambda looms--green and ominous in a star-filled sky.
"I have broached a contract with the chaos-bringer. If we allow him into this universe, access to all other universes will be granted to us. Our horizons will be limitless. Put down your arms and rally to me...if you want to explore, or learn, or simply want to return home."
Behind him, a separate portal opens--brilliant and green just like the Lambda.
"Together, we can stop Prima and Vector, and gain something more worthwhile than this useless chunk of rock we have tried to call home. I will be waiting."
[[Those who wish to rally with Liege may come to his temple. Although fighting is not required for this path, he and Unicron will look favorably upon any who proceed through the small tear behind him to help repel Prima and Vector and their forces from the Maw. Those who do will find the gravity of the Lambda working for them--while you won't be able to fly, you will be able to move through the space around the Lambda with ease, re-orienting yourself as you see fit.]]

Re: [Private]
Oh, I am certain that he thinks it is. He wants this Cybertron...
...but this is hardly the only Cybertron. It will take him a long, long while to digest it. I intend to be far away by then, happily pursuing matters in galaxies without a chaos god.
Re: [Private]
I know this slag heap is hardly the only one. Look at us, we're from all over the place. Scrap, in some realities, Mr. Chaos Planet Muncher has gone the way of the dodo's.
[She taps a claw against her table for a few moments.]
If you're bent on sacrificing this floating metal heap, there's no point in staying. But, there's also no point in making it easy for The Slag face either because the moment he finishes with this place, he will follow us.
It's how these evil moron's think. Let some idiots who make a contract go, let them settle in the new place and then use them as the means to get to said new place.
[...Blackarachnia may just have a little bit of experience with being a traitor and double crossing old bosses.]
So, I have a deal for you. I'm willing to join you but only if we have a little fun before we exit.
[At that Blackarachnia smirks and just... kind of pans the video feed over all sorts of schematics. She may or may not have been busy in his labs while he's gone.]
I'm sure with a little tweaking, some of these toys might come in handy. Especially... a certain virus of mine if, you think we can put it to good use.
Re: [Private]
[Oh, can Liege appreciate the logic that you're presenting. It isn't just scientifically sound...it is also sneaky. Both of those appeal to him greatly.]
I am not opposed to a bit of mischeif, especially if it is mischeif that distracts the chaos-bringer while we get away.
We will have to be careful, however.
[He'd prefer not to be captured by Unicron, after all. This gives him thought as he peeers at your schematics, considering the options.]
If we use my acolytes as carriers, we could get the virus close enough to transmit without having to engage in the battle ourselves.
Re: [Private]
I'm glad we're on the same wavelength. The virus just needs to be reconfigured to attack the chaos-bringer and whatever monsters he's using. Something I think you would be perfect at doing.
And, if you really do want to save the idiots that are too moronic for their own good, there's always chasing them towards whatever portal you want to use. Of course, I'm also fine with letting a few of them fry. Who cares if they hate us later.
[Like Sentinel because scrap him. Besides, she's used to playing the badgirl even when she's good.]
A few well placed monsters and liberal use of acid and explosives might just do the trick.
