video; timed to an early hour of the morning (such as it is on a blanket with no sun)
[ It is very early in the hour; had there been a dawn to record this moment of shadowy light over the hills, it would have been now. But the light he does have, gentle in it's undulations -- the distant Lambda tear is it;s likely source. For those who were on planets with a sun, certainly, it seems all the more alien for it. ]
I have spent my early time here exploring, both the world within and the world without. I am uncertain of this feeling these foreign landscapes engineer.
Homesickness.
For a planet that was never mine.
Curious.
[ He loved Earth, even in its strange organic variety and wonder. Cats feeding on birds, humans being so rich in their organic experience, everything in between. It was such a fascinating planet, so rich with diversity and wonder... It was no small thing to die to keep it intact, truly. ]
[ But what does that make Cybertron? The land where they laid his chassis, certainly, but his spark-- well. His spark longs for the place he truly began to understand, and that place was Earth. ]

nuisancesecret agent.]And what planet is that one? [He figures that Prowl means earth, but confirmation is nice.]
no subject
It is odd, is it not? I sometimes wondered at what Yoketron had meant.
No longer, though.
no subject
Oh? It's because he's gone or because you finally understood?

[ He is at peace. The loss of the Protoforms to the Decepticons pains him, but he knows -- he knows those lives will return to their proper place, someday. ]
Speaking of wise leaders-- Optimus Prime. Ours-- [ Since, you know, there's multiples of people trotting about. ] Have you heard from him? I haven't in -- weeks. He said he wanted to check in sometime, but I didn't hear anything from him after that.

[Blurr disagree with your point of view on that, he can't help it.]
The first and last time we talked was a few weeks ago I HAVEN'T SEEN him since then.
no subject
No, we didn't.
[ It's in a tone that doesn't invite argument or discussion of the fact. Instead, he speaks of Optimus. ]
Hmm. I will have to look seeing if something has gone amiss. Thank you.

[Your tone of voice means little to Blurr, Prowl. You are not his boss nor you are in touch with all the troubles Lockdown and those protoform missing caused the Council.]
You should try asking his FirstForged THEY MIGHT now.
no subject
[ Maybe that'll get the point across. He knows far bettern than most just what those missing protoforms did for the Council any everyone else. After all, the cyber-ninjas were guarding them. ]
I will.
[ And then, rather then lose his cool again, he cuts the connection. ]
no subject
[Then don't go around saying you aren't sorry, that was a sore subject for more people than just you. However, Blurr can see there's little point on arguing.]
Ugh...
[So very mature, ninja bot.]

I was talking about the homesickness.
...So, space-faring, huh? What is that like? Sounds like sea-faring.... [And ah, homesickness again: she thinks of her mother's stories of pirates, the ones she'd tell her when she was a little girl, even before she was the Avatar....]
no subject
Well, it is like sea-faring, except in the space between worlds instead of the oceans between landmasses. The very basic principle is the same.

I was thinking of Earth.
[She's genuinely surprised because her version of Earth is a complete wasteland. She even forgets to offer her name in return.]
What do you miss about it?
[ Since, you know, robotic lifeform versus organic... really different set ups. ]
I found it to be strangely beautiful, how everything seemed to be a piece of this world's great machine in and of itself.
Must have been nice.

[ Worse than Cybertron, really; but organics were often so delicate... he's not surprised. ]

Oh my, listen to me ramble on and on about the past. I'm sorry about that, I got so distracted I didn't even introduce myself. My name is Leviathan.
[ That's not a name or work he really recognizes, but accepts it as given. ]
