[Video] [Transmission originating from Junk Pile]
[Despite having found haven in the Solian temple, Wheeljack wasn't one to stick around in one place. It made him positively antsy, and to be honest, there wasn't much to do there. The longer he stayed, the longer Ratchet would mother-hen him into thinking something was wrong with his processor, or that a dent on his chassis meant irreparable damage. As touching as that was, he decided to stretch his wheels. It's not like they could do anything or go anywhere, after all, so he headed towards the only place he knew of: the junk pile.
Not that he minded that. It was a good place to search for materials. Something to make a good grenade with. Because really, with two Starscreams and counting he had to make sure he had the perfect present for them if the time called for it. And he couldn't rely on the one latched to his hip permanently. It was bound to be used sooner or later.
Figuring he could use a bit of help in this area, he decided to switch on the communicator.]
So...anyone want to go on a treasure hunt?
[He could be seen digging through a pile, tossing out this and that.]

Re: [Action]
[Korra bends some rock debris away--just taking a martial stance and punching, and the debris moves seemingly of its own accord--trying to clear a path toward something that looks metallic and slightly shining.]
Well, he's been cool with me.
[Action]
Well, more like to help my friend. They were kinda tangled up together.
Re: [Action]
[Action]
Yannow, legs locked in each other, one big mess of bot.
Re: [Action]
I...what...where they...?
[Korra thankfully distracts herself with a new shiny thing as Wheeljack places the helmet on her head--it's a very familiar red. Korra excitedly takes it off, examining it.]
A Fire Nation helm! [Korra practically squeals with delight. She rolls the helmet around in her hands.] This is so like the one I wore for my firebending exam! [Korra jams the helmet back on her head and follows Wheeljack, beginning to look eagerly around.]
Maybe the rest of the armor's here too!
[OOC: Helmet looks like the above icon.]
[Action]
It was kinda funny, actually, if you knew the two who were tangled up. They're kinda like rivals, yannow? And to see em in one scrapheap...I couldn't help but make a joke.
[And then he gets to witness her utter glee at a helmet. Granted he has no idea what 'Fire Nation' and 'firebending' are, but that doesn't mean he won't ask.]
Ya lost me.
[He plucks it off her head, holding it between his index finger and thumb, examining it.]
This standard issue where you come from?
Re: [Action]
Rivals in what?
[Korra looks up, up, craning her neck to watch Wheeljack check out the helmet. She feels slightly unnerved at that reminder of how he utterly dwarfs her.]
For some, yeah. It's normal for firebender training.
[Action]
Medical expertise. Doctor vs. Doctor, yannow?
[And then he has to ask.]
Okay, I'll bite. What's firebendin'?
Re: [Action]
Oh hey, are you talking about Ratchet?
[Korra's eyes bug out. Then she looks embarrassed.]
Sorry, I forgot you probably wouldn't know. Firebending's what my world calls manipulating the element of fire--like this--
[Korra lights up a fireball in her hand, quickly tosses it back and forth between her hands, then snaps it out.]
Ta-da.
[Action]
So you've met the ol' doc! Yeah, that's him alright.
[And then he watches Korra's display, and he'd be lying if he wasn't slightly impressed.]
You organics get more and more creative every time I see ya.
Re: [Action]
[Korra grins at the compliment. She walks forward, carefully sidestepping Wheeljack, as she begins to climb up a pile, picking at it as she goes, searching for glimpses of red.]
[Action]
Yeah...strange though. Other guys here recognize me...
Say I'm a scientist in their world. Man are THEY far from the truth.
Re: [Action]
I've seen three Starscreams. Apparently there can be more than one version of a person in this place. Too strange.
[Action]
Three? ...I've only met two.
Re: [Action]
[Korra spots something red. Begins to pull at it.]
[Action]
pinkmagenta one he knew...although the connection with Slipstream was pretty helpful, blocky Starscream must be the other one he me-WAIT.His eyes shoot wide as he reaches over, almost in a trance and moves some of the surrounding debris for her. He doesn't even register himself doing this.]
...He knows Knock Out? So...HE is here. THAT Starscream.
Re: [Action]
[Action]
Easy there, tiger.
[He gave a slight chuckle. It wasn't without merit, though. With tugging that armor out, he noticed a large metal casing. Perfect for a grenade.]
Re: [Action]
Thanks for the catch. [She grins.]
[Korra's about to ask about THAT Starscream, but then she notices what Wheeljack's looking at, where the red armor just was. She points at the metal thing.]
What's that?
[Action]
No problem.
[He gives the casing a little toss. It can't be much bigger than her.]
Not really sure. But I know what it's gonna become. An explosive.
Re: [Action]
[Korra presses the red armor against her, looks down at it. Really matches closely to her her firebending uniform for her test. Then she frowns at it. What's something like this doing here?]
[Action]
Looks like a perfect fit to me.
Re: [Action]
[But Korra takes her helmet off first. Then she puts the red armor on, and replaces her outfit. She does a few quick katas. She settles back, satisfied, crosses her arms.]
Yep, it's a good fit.
[Then her eyes dart back to the ground.]
Um, you can put me down now, Wheeljack. Thanks.
[Action]
No problem, kiddo.
Glad to see ya found somethin' in this scrapheap.
Re: [Action]
You, too.
[She glances around.]
What are else are you looking for?
