[Voice, then Video]
[To organics - or, well, anyone who doesn't speak Cybertronian - the audio is filled with what sounds like garbled, shrill electronics noise, doubled back on itself in feedback several times over. To those who do speak Cybertronian . . . have a lot of harsh cursing. No . . . really harsh cursing, stuff that would make Unicron blush. That tends to happen when you've pissed of a Decepticon, or scared the ever-living slag out of him, or he's in a lot of pain. Especially if he's all three at once. Oh . . . and there's the occasional noise of rifle fire.]
[And one more curse for good measure when said startled/pained/pissed-off Decepticon realizing he's broadcasting all of this! The audio feed cuts off.]
[About an hour later, a video feed starts. Thundercracker seems to have gotten really really cosy with a wall. As in, the lower half of his left leg, his left rifle, and the tip of his left wing are embedded in it. There are several rifle shots scoring the walls, though none come quite close enough to attempt to shoot himself free - with his wing and rifle (and therefore, arm) immobilized the way they are, he just can't quite shift his other shoulder/arm enough to get the right angle. He'll switch to English. His tone is angry and frustrated, stressed with pain.]
All right, all right, I give!
Starscream . . . or . . . frag, anyone . . . some demolitions help would be great right about now.

Not even close, no.
...remove myself? As in teleport? That'd be great . . . if I had any fragging idea how.
[His optics dim at the last. Not that he hadn't considered it himself, but . . . ]
[He drags a hand down his face, forcing himself to calm down.]
All right . . . all right, then, so how do I-!?
[Well, because he was thinking about it . . . he does it. His optics brighten and there's the beginning of a yelp an instant before he disappears with a loud VOP! noise, reappearing in the middle of the room . . . literally. He's several feet off the ground and finishes that yelp as he falls, unable to catch himself and landing gracelessly on his aft.]
. . . ow.
Well, firstly, you're going to---
[And then Thundercracker - and well, the actual video feed, just disappears briefly before he's back and clearly not stuck in the wall any longer as down he goes onto the floor.]
Think about moving, yes. I'd suggest be very careful and exact about where you think about wanting to move, until you can tease out how to not to teleport without full control of when you're doing it, at least.
[Video] . . . *headdesk* I just went to the journal to see if this is /Sky/fire or /Jet/fire--
[The blue Seeker climbs back to his feet, now additionally fragged off that he's just embarrassed himself in front of Starscream and at least two strangers. He does his best to strangle that down, since he's not actually angry at the people he's talking to and doesn't want to needlessly alienate them right now.]
How . . . the frag . . . is it possible to teleport without warp engines!? Or the algorithms and other processing powers needed to control the-
[He stops at a thought and looks directly at Jetfire.]
Is it normal to arrive here and find yourself . . . altered in some way? Is it because I got yanked through that Lambda thing?
As far as things have happened up until now, no, there's been no proof of any... er, alterations. Which, of course, doesn't mean it can't happen, or isn't a new development...
[He trails off for a moment, frowning.]
Or something else is going on. Going to need more time and data to make any sort of conclusion, but it is indeed curious that you're suddnely in possession of an ability you didn't have...
Hm, I would surmise you didn't have it immediately upon exiting the Lambda? It's more recent than that?
[Don't get upset at the science-y mech. Don't take out frustrations on him either. Thundercracker pulls a deep cycle of air through his vents, checking his irritation.]
I don't know. I've been here barely a week as it is. This is the first time it's happened. I have no idea what else could have caused it, though.
It shouldn't be impossible to get answer to what's going on, especially if the ability only suddenly revealed itself, and none of us who've been here longer have had sudden changes to or additions of any abilities.
[He shakes his helm slowly.]
While I'm sure being told "be careful how you move and think about moving, as well as be patient" isn't what you'd want to hear, that's the best I can offer presently.
...lucky me.
[As much as the "Decepticon" in him wants to GROWL at the mech - especially being an Autobot - he . . . recognizes that'd be both unproductive and unfair. Yes, most of his faction wouldn't care about the latter nor many the former, it means something to him. Checking his scowl, he nods.]
I understand. Thank you . . . ah . . .
[And he realizes that he doesn't know the mech's name. Not for CERTAIN anyway. Though he looks a great deal like another mech he knows.]
I'm Thundercracker, by the way.
Presently, though, I would be inclined to think something odd might b egoing on, Lamdba-affected or no... But if we have to answers in a few days, you might want to get scanned to find out if you do have all the necessary auxiliary programs to deal properly with warping.
[Which... Jetfire wondered if he did, since he'd gained the ability to suddenly.]
Thought so. [He smiled sightly and gave Thudercracker a nod.] Enough similarity it seemed highly possible you were an alternate of the one I know. My designation's Jetfire.
[He startles faintly. Jetfire, not Skyfire? Huh... He nods.]
Thank you for your assistance, Jetfire.
[A shrug and a shake of his helm.]
I hope you get the warping under reasonable control as soon as possible.
I will begin working on that, yes.
[He shrugs.]
And definitely check if you do have the auxiliary calculation and coordinate triangulation programs along with your new warping ability, since that ought to make things... ah, hopefully easier.
[But, honestly, he doubted that even with those things would necessarily help. They were, as far as he was aware, something that sort of developed "naturally" and just took up processor space on its own in a protoform frame if the spark introduced would end up capable of warping.]
[Great. Because, yeah, he's pretty sure it's a natural development too. Or anyway, Skywarp always made it seem pretty slagging natural.]
How do I go about checking for that?
I'd suggest a complete deep-core scan during your regular routines during recharge, or if that fails, go to a medic and let them check. Either of those should be able to bring such additions to your processor up...
Yeah . . . yeah, good thinking.
What medics around here are . . . reliable, that you know of?
[Especially for a Decepticon.]
As far as I know, none of the medics available have turned anyone who needs it away. There is a Ratchet and First Aid, as well as three I have no knowledge or experience with, going by alternates; Pharma, Ambulon and Knock Out.
I think you should be all right contacting any of those.
[Two Autobots and three mechs he's never heard of. Hmn...]
I'll look into them. Thanks.
[Jetfire frowned slightly as he shook his helm, then gave the alternate of the Thundercracker he... somewhat knew/had known and disconnected the feed.]
