[Audio only, because wow, there are just some things he can't explain right now. Not that he could even if he wanted to--which is really something he should address at some point too-- but well, priorities. One thing at a time.]

This is--[there's the noise of a mech roughly clearing his vocalizer. The pitch changes a bit after that, it almost seems intentional.] Sorry. It's Wing. Ah. A question if you will. To those of you who went out to the Badlands with Ashitaka....

Have you, perchance, noticed any... after effects?

I--don't want to alarm anyone. Just...curious?

[Wing's voice--doesn't seem right. But still possibly familiar? And for a mech who always chooses video when conversing over the Link, all of this audio stuff might seem a bit peculiar.]

[Locked to Drift:] And Drift...ah, where ever you happen to be, I hope you're...okay?

Is anyone hurt? Has there been combat?

[He ex-vents, trying to keep his voice even. And whoops, looks like he dodges your question.] Ah, just some odd...dreams? I think between the Badlands and Vandal's trouble I've just been out of sorts.

Nobody's hurt, just Soundwave's moody, Blurr's hyperactive, Vandal's hopefully sticking to the Medbay...

[aw man] When you make me lay it out like that, I don't have much to complain about.

That's good to hear. Things seem to be pretty chaotic aside from that though.

Lots of insanity. Too much to be a coincidence. I'd say there's something in the Energon, but ...Vandal. Kind of bombs that theory. And I'm firing on all cylinders, at least--as far as I can tell.

Well, in a strange sense it's comforting? Knowing I'm not the only one noticing, uh, anomalies.

But you're right, I could use some company. 3/4s of the way up Vector's tower, east side, balcony with the red streamer. And just so you're prepared...

[He flicks on the video feed...and Drift!Wing waves ruefully back at you.]

[Which is good because most of the laughter on this end has been hysterical.]

A-ha, yes I feel quite enriched. [Okay, that's mostly cheeky levity but the experience has been educational in some ways.]

Well, honestly...I'm a little sad I used up the last of my high grade stock...

Try not to worry too much, I'm sure there's a fix for this. [it's easy for him to sound confident and amused, he's not in somebody else's frame] And if not, you'll just have to train yourself to answer to more than one name.

Thanks. And moocher? Maybe. But I'm going to allow myself to feel slightly entitled from a universal balance stand point. [A beat.] That means I threw a really big party where lots of people drank high grade thanks to me. Too bad you weren't here for that actually.

[He'll just open up balcony doors again and push the railing aside too. This would normally not be necessary but...things of late had been different in some pretty extreme ways of late. Like, not being able to fly.]

Appeal to the FirstForged and owe a big regrettable favor, is the last step. [a pause, and then he snickers and responds] No, no, can't do that. Whift and Dring are both terrible.

Oh, Primus, somehow I forgot you're one of those types. What exactly is the sound of one servo clapping?

[he lands on the balcony lightly a scant minute later, equipped with engex and can-do spirit.] So is it okay if I see you, or do you want me to stay outside?

[Wing sighs.] Not that I mind the favors portion, but I prefer to bother them the least amount possible. They are very busy. [He makes a face, because those are terrible names indeed.] And I suppose Driftwing is too long.

Somehow? Do I need to spout philosophy more often then? I'll have get back to you on that after 3 days meditation.

[Good, because Wing's lacking in his usual can-do spirit. But there's levity in dry humor at least?] Sure it's fine. It's only embarrassing when I try to jump off balconies, drive, or practice with weighted weapons that I haven't used in several centuries.

[Drift!Wing is seated on the berth, datapad and a few books scattered around, the Great Sword hung against the wall nearby. He welcomes you in, gesturing to a nearby table and stool.

I'd mind the favors portion. Driftwing makes it sound like you fly crooked.

If you spout it any more I'm gonna have to give you a swear-jar for them. A koan-jar.

[he stepped into the room, looking around, catching sight of the bottles and giving Wing a look.

It was so very... human... or perhaps Swindle-ian, to collect junk like that, in his opinion, though he wasn't yet prepared to say so outright (even he wasn't that rude).]

So does the sword still work for you?

[He gives an unrepentant but playful shrug in response to that look.] I like pretty, colorful things. The way they catch the light is nice. It reminds me of the huge colored windows we had in Crystal City, and Iacon.

[Wing looks back at the weapon.] It does, or rather, I know it's mine and not Drift's. [HA, oh paradox!] I feel the link and still hear it's 'voice' the same as I did, though its tone has changed slightly.
