[Audio only, because wow, there are just some things he can't explain right now. Not that he could even if he wanted to--which is really something he should address at some point too-- but well, priorities. One thing at a time.]

This is--[there's the noise of a mech roughly clearing his vocalizer. The pitch changes a bit after that, it almost seems intentional.] Sorry. It's Wing. Ah. A question if you will. To those of you who went out to the Badlands with Ashitaka....

Have you, perchance, noticed any... after effects?

I--don't want to alarm anyone. Just...curious?

[Wing's voice--doesn't seem right. But still possibly familiar? And for a mech who always chooses video when conversing over the Link, all of this audio stuff might seem a bit peculiar.]

[Locked to Drift:] And Drift...ah, where ever you happen to be, I hope you're...okay?

Ahahaha--Do I? [The laugh is a little shrill, but also extremely grateful.] That's good to hear actually.

[He sighs. It's a sound that's tired and heavy with resignation. He clicks on the video feed.]

[And there's a mech who looks a lot like Drift, shrugging and rubbing his helm's crest.]

[And then his face crumples under the weight worry.]

Have you seen him? He hasn't responded to me, things are so crazy and, I mean--[have a shrill little laugh and a hysterical bit of finger wiggling in front of his--Drifts?--chassis] --it's not like I have no reason to worry you know.

[Wow yeah okay. Deep breaths.]

I know. He's safe. He's with me. I'm taking care of him. He's not hurt but... he's kind of indisposed at the moment.

Just trust me. I'm keeping him at my house.

[Yeah that here too.]

He is!? [It's like a train wreck of relief, mixed a whole lot of other stuff, but mostly relief.] But...indisposed?

[Well, wasn't Wing too, kind of? OH. BUT. YEAH. Well Wing is now putting two and two together and getting a sudden strange sense of guilt that might have something to do with speculative body snatching.]

I'm glad he's safe at least. But...

Wait... how does he fit in your...? [FRAG. Does he even want to know?]

[He whimpers and puts his face in his hands.]

Yeah...

Uh. He's not exactly in his proper body. He kind of made me swear up and down not to tell you exactly and at this point I kind of don't blame him.

But he's safe. I'll make sure to take care of him so he gets back to you in one piece...

[Wing doesn't look particularly comforted by this. In fact he looks oddly sheepish.]

Maybe he...shouldn't know about this. I mean I don't want him to worry...

[A mildly nervous laugh.]

Um, yeah, sure, if you really need to. I'm in my room. It's a lot of flights of stairs, sorry. There might be an elevator? [He wouldn't know really.] If you need me to, I can meet you out front.

Ah...

I'm gonna go check on Drift before I leave but I'll be there in just a little while.

[Really, he was just going to have to bite the bullet on this one, or whatever that strange idiom is....]

I...should just come get you. You'll have to walk the whole way otherwise.

[He wasn't helpless, and he needed to stop acting like it.]

No promises on my driving skill though. [Or complete lack thereof.] I'll be there shortly. [He thinks.]

That's fair. I'm on my way.

[And then he's carefully slipping out of Vector's tower, trying to avoid any awkward explanations with his fellows, to get on the road. The transformation feels different, but strangely good: it's like sharing something with Drift that he normally wouldn't be able to. The driving part however does not come as naturally, but he manages to exit Vector's quadrant without ending up in the gorge, so that's a start.]

[She makes it out to nearly the bridge before she catches sight of him.

Wow. He really is borrowing Drift's body. This is going to be so weird.]

Hey! Wing!

[He spies Vandal just over the bridge, waving at him. If he was accustomed to being a grounder he could do something cool here. But as it is he rolls up a conservative speed, halting with a jerk somewhat nearby, lest he.]

[Have an open door and a cheesy line to make up for it though.]

Is this where I get to say 'Your carriage awaits, milady?'

Very cute.

[She just climbs in the passenger seat and curls up in the seat. It's weird because although he's identical, it definitely doesn't 'feel' like Drift.]

So this is it, then? What the hell is even happening...

[Is this where he's supposed to suggest the use of seatbelts? Does he even have seatbelts? He heads back the way he came, peeling out with a lurch before getting a handle on the acceleration.]

Whatever 'it' is... I wish I knew. It's all pretty...freaky. [It's got him so out of sorts his normal articulate manner of speaking has gone funky.]

Heh. It's okay. You belong in the air, anyways. I'm sure this is weird.

[She pats his dash.]

Has anyone asked one of those FirstForged guys? Maybe they would know.

YES. Guuh, Indeed. You have no idea really. It's not bad, just different. And I miss flying...

[Huuunnnuh this is just weird. He's never carried passengers before. He's not sure what it was going to be like...but it's ODD.]

[An awkward laugh.] Just a little, yeah...

[He's...learning. It's interesting. Not bad, just different.]

I suppose you're right. I...um, admittedly have not been much for leaving my quarters. Just...awkward.

[Well, okay he did leave his quarters a few times. For fuel. And to stand outside Drift's room until someone came by and wondered why he was hanging about trying to get up the courage to knock on his own door...]
