[Audio][Transmitting from Vector's Tower]

[Audio only, because wow, there are just some things he can't explain right now. Not that he could even if he wanted to--which is really something he should address at some point too-- but well, priorities. One thing at a time.]

This is--[there's the noise of a mech roughly clearing his vocalizer. The pitch changes a bit after that, it almost seems intentional.] Sorry. It's Wing. Ah. A question if you will. To those of you who went out to the Badlands with Ashitaka....

Have you, perchance, noticed any... after effects?

I--don't want to alarm anyone. Just...curious?

[Wing's voice--doesn't seem right. But still possibly familiar? And for a mech who always chooses video when conversing over the Link, all of this audio stuff might seem a bit peculiar.]

[Locked to Drift:] And Drift...ah, where ever you happen to be, I hope you're...okay?

[Wing-not-Drift has been hiding in his room high in Vector's tower for most of the last day and half. Aside from two aborted trips to Drift's room and some sneaky refueling, he's been in hiding while trying to figure out what to do. But he's running out of ideas and his self-imposed exile is just heightening his anxiety.]

[Blurr had been feeling really weird lately too, specially during twilight and night. And the nightmares...those were something that he was trying to ignore for the time being. He didn't feel like knocking on the door and wait for permission (which was unusual for him) and instead of that he stepped in, looking around.] Wing?

[There's a startled gasp from the balcony where Wing is seated, then a clattering sound as he fumbles and tries not to drop his communicator. Once it's securely in his hands again, he peers past the open double doors and into the room, warily searching for his visitor.]

[The room, though of good size, is still not huge, and he spots the blue mech easily.]

Blurr! Oooh!

[He looks around frantically, as if he had some means of hiding himself and his strange new look. It's an instinctive reaction and he feels a bit sheepish for it immediately after. He sighs, and gestures for the other mech to join him.]

[Someone's jumpy.]

There you are... [Blurr smirks and the light of the room falls on him as he walks forward. He winks, looking very confused for a second.]

Wing IS that really you? What's going on?

[Just a little.]

[He lets out a sheepish little laugh.] Aha, yes it's me, despite appearances. And honestly, I have no idea. I wish I did really.

[Wing notes that he's not the only who seems to acting a little funny...though maybe that's just his nerves seeing things that aren't there.]

[Crazy Blurr will enjoy that.

Blurr moves even closer to him, trying to give the other mech a good look.]Does that mean...that DRIFT is in your body? [Blurr's voice changes suddenly, sounding deeper.] That's just neat. Oh, the things you could do...

[Oh dear.]

[He's standing now of course, because it's only polite to rise and greet your visitors. The light from the balcony falls across his back, creating a halo around him, his shadow falling into the room.]

Aaah, I don't know really. I haven't been able to reach him. Though... maybe? [And, OH. He looks suddenly very sheepish.] Umm...I suppose...

[He's a new brand of 'special'.

Such a magical view...if only Blurr cared more. he does not now, because Wing/Drift's body is blocking the light and the shadow cast over him makes Blurr change back to his not too nice self.] Who cares then, he probably doesn't want to be found. Do you have the sword too?

[Just not the shiny kind of new. Yikes.]

I...[He doesn't quite flinch, but he does draw in on himself a little at the thought that Drift might not want to be with him.] ...guess? But, um, no. Not his sword. I have mine still. [A puzzled look.] ...why do you ask?

[No one's perfect.]

Oh because I wanted to see it close, it looked so big and dangerous...are you flinching? Do I scare you?

[Did it just get colder in here?]

Ah well, an time you want to see it you could just ask.

[Except that he's kind of thinking that he's not sure he wants to right now... And he's a little nervous that you're between him and where he keeps it...]

Flinching? Wha--No. [Shifty eyes.] 'Scare' isn't the word I would use... Blurr are you sure you're feeling alright?

[Perhaaaaaaps.]

I will.

[Don't worry Blurr looks over his shoulder and then moves away from Wing, stepping on the light again.] I......eh RIGHT yes perfect. Whyareyoustillhidingthere?
