001 Medical Report // [Voice] [originating from Trion's Temple]

[The voice may be familiar to several of you, and it's filled with a mixture of aggravation, confusion, and curiosity]

So, Cybertron, is it? Definitely not one I remember. A question for anyone who can hear this. Is there any more up to date information available? I'm not trusting the sole source so far.

Possibility? You're in one. Or do you really run into hooded figures talking about Cybertron that often?

The hooded figures are a bit new, yes. It doesn't necessarily mean that I am in a new dimension. It could be that we are in an earlier time, not necessarily a new dimension.

An earlier time. In our dimension.

Because our Primes- [He practically spits the word.] -were preparing our Cybertron for a god called 'Primus'. Right. Sure.

I am open to possibilities, Barricade.

Ha. We're alone in destroying each other and we always will be. There is no benevolent creator-god; there's just us, and our Primes wrecking things.

That hasn't been disproven or proven, Barricade.

Sure. [Snort.] Sure it hasn't.

I wouldn't know about that, Barricade. So. Not proven or disproven. Yet.

Well, if Primus was around, your faction probably chucked his heart into space. And then your human jammed it in Megatron's chest.

It was either send it out to space where no one could use it, or live as slaves. On either Cybertron or Earth.

Where no one could use it, except those humans that found it and started experimenting with it. Right?

The same humans that probably would've eventually used it to make war machines to kill each other. Right?

That was an accident of chance. It could have landed in the Sun.

[snort] They had weapons before the Cube landed.

And then we wouldn't have gotten stuck on that miserable little mudball someone deigned to call a planet.

Yes. As I recall, they were using rocks and sticks at the time. And then they started reverse engineering things from Megatron.

At least Earth wasn't dying any time soon.

[dry snort]

They're humans. Curiosity is bred into them. They had a shiny new toy and he was useful. Doesn't excuse them, for really, to do that to another sentient being? Of course he was a touch frozen. [blandly] I heard navigation problems? Faulty systems, I would presume.

Ah yes, it is so like your kind to give up on your own planet, as soon as something else comes along.

I wonder, would you be so nonchalant if they had finished the job on Bumblebee? Or maybe if Optimus had been in Megatron's position. Or when they inevitably turn on you, when the rest of us are gone.

It was dead when we left, after that final battle, Barricade, There wasn't anything left to rebuild. Ghosts and shards. Earth at least had life and was worthy of protecting. But then, you don't know about protecting, did you? Destroying the world we lived on. And don't you dare yell about the Allspark being destroyed, it was to keep six billion lives safe versus what, a few thousand of us?

I see you avoiding the real question, Ratchet. So focused on 'blah blah not going to try to fix our own problems, have to try to fix someone else's instead' that you fail to consider that if you ever manage to drive the Decepticons off of Earth, you are going to be the humans' new experiments.

Not likely. They've discovered cooperation gets them farther than coercion. You might want to try it some day.

It's not coercion when you're frozen, darling. And you've handed them all the tactics they need to successfully take you down. Cooler heads rarely prevail with them; just take a look at their history.

Charming image. But then, we are not of their world. They strongly dislike anything different from their own views. Which sounds fairly similar to others I know of. Ones who are not human.

How often I've heard the 'humans aren't so different from us' argument. It's so old hat. And it won't save you, when it comes down to it.

That remains to be seen.
