Correct. And upon who has designed us - I have a brother who was made in Russia but we share our creator.

[He's not even sure if Zeus knows of him. Noisy Boy's career had been on the downslide before the other bot had even been built. Still, it's easy to tell these things. For him, at least. Could be because of how much he traveled, of course.]

That does explain quite a bit; anyone of us cybertronians, as long as we come from the same reality, share the same... ah, creator, I suppose you could say. [She pauses, frowning. That isn't completely correct when taking into account what they're talking about.

Primus is one thing, this... somewhat different, even if she could eaily see something like their design aesthetic coming from the creator/originator of their sparks as well.]

Or a single creative aesthetic, is perhaps the better way to phrase it.

[She nods.] If anything, it might help when people get injured.

Our sparks come from Primus, conducted through the Creation Matrix; our frames are built by others of us who're already present, and then the spark is introduced to the finished frame.

[Noisy Boy is practically mystified by all of that. Admittedly, Blurr mentioned Primus to him, and he understands the being built part quite well. But...]

What are sparks?

They make us what we are. A frame alone, even with some type of... ah, A.I, wouldn't make a cybertronian.

Not a complete one at any rate.

[She grimaces at that, touching the center of her chestplates.]

It looks like a ball of energy.

That is how you are different from Earth-made bots. Some kind of defining energy.

Perhaps not exactly, but it's as close as it can be if I've understood the concept and words right.

I am not familiar with souls. But I have heard them speak of bots having heart.

Maybe some thread of independence, of core of character simply develops when you reach a particular level of sentience.

[Elita shrugs, quietly turning this idea over in her processor. It's still a strange thing to think about humans... or even other mechanoids as maybe having something similar to sparks, but at the same time, it does make some sort of sense.]

My designer would know that better than I. But I do not think they have realized we are sentient yet.

[They don't seem to, though he's had more than a few handlers talk directly to him before... and not just through his headset.]

[From what little - and it was indeed little - Elita knew of humans, maybe that was just as well..?]

And, in your opinion, is it better they don't know you're sentient yet?

I could not say. Some of them talk to us as if we are sentient already. Though many of them might be disturbed.

[It wasn't like they'd done it on purpose, after all.]

I'll hope those who wouldn't be adversely affected are more than the latter, then, when you go back and if your sentience is widely spread.

[Since if they weren't, she could see that end... badly.]

Other bots are sentient, or our styles might not be so different. But I think most humans expect us to simply be machines.

[Sort of like supped-up coffee pots.]

[She huffs, shaking her helm.]

That's to be expected, I suppose. And that the humans will act reasonably when they find out.

I can only hope that they do.

[Since he really rather likes humans.]

[Elita smiles, easily, and dips her helm in a brief nod.]

Hopefully they'll find out some way for us all to go home soon, even if we... could help here too.

Accidental or not, I would think that, since we've been marked, we all have something to contribute.

I suppose so. There must be some reason we were marked like this. It is something to think on, at least.

Some reason beyond differentiating us from anything that isn't marked, if that happens.

Either way, that's nothing we can find out at the moment.
