[Please, have Alpha Trion sitting at a desk, looking very distinguished while he sorts through a stack of datapads and musty-looking books.]

Hm.

It seems that I may have...misplaced...something.

No need for alarm, it's nothing pivotal this time.

[He looks around the library, managing to appear only slightly less sheepish than he feels.]

However, given the recent events, I took the liberty of checking for the Tome of Possibilities, and...ah.

It wasn't there.

[Oops.]

Has anyone noticed any missing pages floating--perhaps literally--about?

Barring that, could anyone give me a list of what has changed?

[If he couldn't get the pages back, he might at least be able to set a few things to rights. Maybe. Hopefully before there was any major damage done.]

[Where ever he's sitting, it's in a brightly lit room. Obviously on the floor, with his knees pulled to his chest and his communicator off to the side. His expression even in profile is taut and weary, his voice quiet and flat.]

[He'd thought it strange when he found the page, but also quaint, which is what motivated him to write...]

What happens when you write on them?

To put it simply, what you write or draw becomes reality.

However, it is not so predictable as that.

Not so predictable? [Could anyone have predicted the recent chaos...which must be related, what other explanation was there?]

Meaning: it's 'complicated'...

[He sighs, rubbing the crest of his helm.] I believe I have one...yes.

It is very complicated, and I'm deeply sorry that I did not notice sooner.

[Really, there was no reason the Tome should have been gone in the first place.]

Do you think you can have that page returned to me?

[There are many that are deeply sorry Trion, but, such is life apparently, even here.]

I see. [He nods.] I...can't leave here to retrieve it myself. But I know where it is. I could find someone to get the page and return it. I think.

I would appreciate that. It will help me speed up the process of recovery.

[He'd like things to be back to normal, and he's sure you would, as well.]

I will arrange it. However is necessary. [He nods.] And returning it will...return things to normal?

[There's a desperate thread of hope in his voice at that.]

And....if I may ask--I mean no disrespect--but, how did this happen?

[It goes beyond the simple logistics of a mistake, it's more accepting the mistake in the first place. Wing is an easy believer, and when confronted with early evidence of the First Forged's power and Vector Prime's moving words, he's easily put faith in them. Sitting now, bearing the evidence of their fallibility, is something he's trying to come to terms with.]

It will. I should be able to undo any damage caused regardless, but the changes will be closer to seamless with that page.

[His own look turns somber.]

There are not many who would be capable of taking it from me. I intend to investigate this matter personally. [Because, really. It's not just a matter of misplacing something, even if that would be a lovely explanation.]

[His voice is grave and weary.]

That would be good. [It probably goes without saying, but Wing is lacking in his normal eloquence right now.] If I can assist...please let me know.

[Because the idea of something like this happening again is...dismaying at the very least.]
