[Dinobot felt in a philosophic mood. So much had transpired from the moment of his death. He was certain this was not the Pit or any afterlife. What afterlife would allow fleshlings? The Maximal had so much to question. If he had already saved history...why do the task of bringing him back again? Why at this point in time?

Is history a tale told by a fool, or something more? If fate does not write our history, does it matter who does the writing? Must free will be the absence of fate or must it be its tool?

That which I decide be mine or merely the shade of another's work? Does this story's beginning simply involve our resolution?

Make no mistake, I am a warrior first and foremost.

But a warrior can be both, right? A poet too? I remember hearing about old stories on those guys, and they were fierce as hell, even if sometimes they didn't really make a lotta sense....

In a way, yes. However, a warrior's true concern is of the battlefield. Let that be a lesson to your kind.

What about a reason to fight? [It occurs to Korra that Tenzin would probably be very impressed with that question coming from her, of all lpeople.]

A warrior always has a reason to battle. They would not be a warrior if they did not.

...Is there ever a wrong reason to fight?

I remember one who fought to erase all of history for his own gain.

He was sent to a time before his own. He planned on destroying an...artifact that would surely erase history and erase us from history, leaving him as the only one.

What the hell would he gain from that? Being the only one?

With no one to oppose him he could rule the universe!
