mccrane: (KNEES--what did I do)

[Video][Transmitting from the Junk Pile]

I might have accidentally started the fireworks early.

[The edges of his plating are singed, and just behind him the very flaming carcass of an automobile is roaring in its death throes.]

Energon, it seems, is not a viable replacement for gasoline. [He is grateful he didn't try consuming it before this test, and even more grateful that he managed to start the vehicle from a distance.]

[Since. Ah. It exploded.]

I don't suppose anyone has any suggestions? Or a way to convert us to a different fuel source?

Or some wash-cloths and soap?

Are you by any chance hurt in any way or form sir? Or the explosion only ruined... whatever it is that thing burning behind you?

Have you tried mixing the gasoline with the energon in small quantities at first until you find an stable and viable solution? Not all the engines process energon the same way I happen to consume it three time faster than other Cybetrtronian due to my fast speed.

[Drill Boy sounds like a charming fellow.]

Good to know then. I am aware of the problem I wish I could offer more insight but so far I am out of ideas about what to do WHEN I was in Earth I could function using oil too I didn't need energon all the time so it's strange to discover that it doesn't work the other way around.

That's right.

[What are you thinking now, McCrane.]

I was working on Earth for a very long time and my energon supplies weren't going to last forever I ACTUALLY CAN drink both since Earth's oils vary widely in composition but in the end they're nothing more than mixed organics compounds that my system can process.

I have an internal self lubricating system that uses a substance similar to the molybdenum disulfide because I am a speed model with some very distinctive characteristics but most of the Cybertronian have a similar system.

[Is not organic and it works in the vacuum, he needs that.]

Yes. I can use and process liquid lubricants too but this one just works better for me.

Sorrytohearthat.

I'm glad for that then.

[He still wishes he could do more, though.] Water is not very common so most of them are made with mixtures of energon, silicone or oils.

This might sound a bit drastic but instead of finding a suitable fuel for your engine why don't you modify part of said engine to make it able to process energon? [If the mountain won't come to Muhammad then Muhammad must go to the mountain, you know.]

Granted you will probably need spare parts from others mechs...[That's not exactly like an organ transplant, more like using organs from corpses but it does the job. It's not all that much of a new idea for Cybertronians.]

Yes sir I'm afraid It will be. I think I'll be good to think about this for a bit because it's an important change but not wait too much to take a decision THE longer you go without fuel the weaker your body will become.

AND If you decide to do it the doctors might need to learn about your interior design first It could be a good preventive measure to go to Ratchet and get an scan of your systems as soon as possible, no matter what you decide to do in the end.
