[Hey, there, Haven. You know how what's missing from this place is a helicopter that's actually, you know, nice? Well, here he is.]

Right. So, first order of business always stay together. [A grin.] So who's out there? Roddy? Arcee, babe?  Ultra Magnus?

Second order of business. [He'll heft his pistol. ]  Anyone wanna help me reload?  [Because it's just a matter of time before Quintesson Plot number 7,459 reveals itself and the shooting starts. He wants to be ready.]

And third. I could use a drink. [Like you wouldn't believe.]

[Perceptor quirks up a brow ridge.]

There is Quintesson "weird", and then there is being transported to an entirely different reality with multiple versions of the same individuals from their own base realities interacting.

[It suddenly occurs to him that Springer is a warrior, and he... will probably like Perceptor's alternate here - the sniper/soldier - better than himself - the scientist; the smile fades a bit around the edges. He should be used to that, really, but he'd gotten used to having his own little niche carved out within the Deadzone group. Perceptor is weary of starting over... especially if it's only to lose everything again.]

[He sighs, shakes off his musings, and then offers Springer a time stamp from just before the Zombie! Optimus insanity.]

That is the date of my most recent memories from our reality, however, it has been several years between that point and now for me. I sojourned within yet another reality splinter with individuals from various universes between then and now. I have only recently arrived here, myself, and am initiating the process of constructing laboratory facilities of some sort.

[But, hey, once he gets his lab up and running, you'll be happy to know, Springer, that Perceptor learned how to bartend and mix up some mean high-grade in those intervening years!]
