Ow.... How long was I even out..? Least they could've put me on something softer than ... Oh, is it on?

[The kid stops rubbing at his sore back, holding the communicator somewhat awkwardly as though afraid he'd break it. He turns it over a couple of times before deciding on which way's probably right-side up, nodding to himself. Hope you didn't get dizzy there.]

Um. So...is anyone else out there? I...kind of just got here not too long ago, I guess you could say. Still kinda confused about that too... [No matter what the giant robed metal thingy tried to explain.]

-and is everything around here ridiculously huge? I was kinda hoping I wouldn't have to go through this again...

[He pauses.]

I wonder if this thing is even working.

NO and it stinks! I'd do anything to find a way back, anything! I just want my friends back...

[That gets him thinking. If he's stuck here, then will he ever see Terra and Aqua again? And what if something happened to Terra? How could he be there for his friend if he can't get to him?]

[He's too worked up right now and doesn't catch what Ventus said, so he continues.

[Ventus shakes his head. No sense in worrying about that now. He'd just gotten here.]

There's got to be a way to go back, somehow. I'm sure we'll figure out something.

Besides, look on the bright side- at least you're not the only one here.

[He cuts the dramatics.]

Yeah... yeah, I know that.

If you've been here for as long as you say, you must've made a lot of friends here, right?

W-Well... yeah. Sort of... I dunno, it just feels different.

How so?

It's a little hard to explain, bear with me. My friends back at their world were pretty much with me all the time. I had it where there was never a time I wasn't around somebody. At least one of them stuck around, you know?

My friends here just kinda... do their own thing. So I'm left alone a lot more than I wish I were. Does that make sense?

....no, I get it. That... That makes a lot of sense, actually.

Back home, I had two friends like that. We'd do everything together. Only up until recently, we'd never been apart.

Oh no, that's so sad...

[His ears droop a little.]

It's...okay. They have things to do. Besides- [He forces a smile.] -I know I'll see them again.

Although if I'm stuck here, that could be a problem...
