[Video] In the Junk Pile

[When the camera clicks on, all that's visible above a mound of junk is a pair of yellow wings. They twitch, wiggle, and then suddenly go straight as someone murmurs something that sounds like Oh, yes. That's lovely~.

The junk shudders and then explodes outward as Dirge climbs his way out of it, shaking off random scraps.]

Another day, another new world! And this one is so full of things just lying around...

[He's holding something that looks like it could be a mangled old gas mask, pinching experimentally at the long tube hanging from it.]

This place is mine now, understand? I've marked it. [He gestures and the camera swings to the word 'DIRGE' spelled out in old cans.]

So stay away. [The screen is obscured by a pointing claw, then narrow red optics, and then....just junk. It seems he's gone back into the pile.]

[He punches in the coordinates over by Solus' temple. Albery what are you thinking.]

[Seriously, what are you thinking giving Dirge your location?]

Of course I am. You might have stuff for me. [Transforming into a jet is go. And he's off.]

Like I said, you'd have to find out.

[Sooner or later, you're going to have a jet landing at the provided coordinates. Dirge changes back to his robot mode, touching down heavily on his heels.]

[Albert looks passively on, folding his arms as Dirge lands.]

You actually came.

[Oh wow, you are small. Dirge leans down a little to get a better look.]

Of course. Why wouldn't I?

[Albert looks the mech dead on, not flinching. At least these machines looked more human.]

You might be in for a big disappointment.

[Dirge lifts a claw- he's probably about to try and touch you.]

I doubt it!

[They cyborg steps back.]

And why's that?

[Aw, don't be like that.]

Because even if you don't have labels, you're sure to have something else to give me.

Sorry, I'm not open for business.

Maybe I wanted to see if you'd actually fall for it.

Well, unfortunately for you, I'm not going to leave until I get something for coming here.

Wouldn't call it tricking if it was so blatant.

[Not even his wedding ring hidden in his uniform.]

[Shrug] Your body counts as something.

[He's reaching again, not just to try and touch you this time.]

[Gun hand's out and pointing at the mech.]

I wouldn't try it.

[Dirge pauses, but only to snicker.]

Why not? Your gun is awfully small. It doesn't look like it could really hurt me.

[So yeah, he's just going to try and grab you.]

[No words, 004 is going to fire at the mech with a small hail of bullets.]

[Normally, bullets that size wouldn't bother Dirge- but it's apparently 004's lucky day. One of them pings off the jet's optic at just the right angle to create a painful hairline crack. Another manages to do the same to the glass on Dirge's cockpit.]

Augh!

[The giant set of claws stop reaching for 004 in favor of pressing against the clone's wounded optic.]

Why does this always happen to me?!

Maybe going around claiming everything yours had something to do with it.
