VIDEO; location - the garden

A few matters. I will be brief.

I apologize, first and foremost, for keeping to myself. The page that had affected me was not something I could trust to be near another living being, whether they were of the flesh or of the metal. I decided it was best to seclude myself. Now that it is over, all the better.

However, this does bring about a small problem. I did notice that we seem to be missing... some individuals. I would like to try to search for them. If there's someone you have not heard from in awhile, please inform me and I will begin a search.

Lastly, this is targeted primarily to other beings my size, though I suppose this may work as well for the rest of you metal warriors. Many of us do not know how to defend ourselves. I do.

I would like to share my knowledge.

It is good to have protectors, but it is equally important to know how to survive on your own.

[She digs around in her stuff next to her, pulling out a medieval helmet and putting it on her head.]

It's armor! Well..part of it anyway. But it could help.

As for my weapon...

[She pulls out a firefighter's axe.]

Is it? It looks so... [Clumsy.] Heavy.

As does your weapon.

I think we should start you off with something lighter.

[She swings that axe over her shoulder, curious.]

Like what? Ninja stars?

Something more like a short sword. An axe might get really tiring after awhile.

Oh...do you know where I can find one?

I actually want a few alterations done to this helmet too...but I don't' know any blacksmiths.

I can work on that.

I don't think we really have any, but maybe Vandal can help you.

Vandal...oh yeah! You think they'd help me...?

[Her eyes are practically huge now.]

If you asked nicely, I don't see why not.

I'll have to ask her...

But first things first! When can I start?

[Wow he feels entirely self-centered. All right, not as bad as Whirl who's flexing his arm for the camera, but still. He should have thought of this.]

Who's missing?

Drift. [He smiles faintly.]

I haven't heard anything from Korra and one of the machines that called himself Wheeljack... not the one with the swords. I'm not sure who else might be missing.

[Oh, right, manners. ] Ashitaka. [A nod.]

Wheeljack. The scientist. [That could be bad. Is it possible he's just in a lab somewhere? ]

Korra's...I think she was ill before. Do you think she went out to the Badlands?

[He sighs.] Do we know what was on all the pages? Were they used in them in any way?

I think so, yes.

I hope that she didn't. It was a risk of bringing people with me, that they would follow the Call. That would... [Be his fault.]

I'm not certain. I was in hiding.

I don't think she would--

...I can go check, if you want.

[Drift relates. SO much. He would have hidden, too.] The important thing is that you were safe.

If you do, then I'll go with you.

I don't think that my life should be an exchange for another. Strange, I suppose... that I worked so hard to live.

If we need to. [Drift can move faster on his own, but he understands Ashitaka's need.] Where else could we look?

Maybe someone aerial could help? [He hates the idea of needing someone else, but it is practical. And you don't lead battles--and win--without having some tactical ability.]

Why is it strange to want to live? [He fought to live, in the gutters, even when he hated living.]
