[The kid lies on his back on the large slab that's supposed to be a bed, arms folded behind his head as he stares up at the ceiling. Never mind how he got up on the thing.]

So I've been wondering... are we...not supposed to be here? Like- we weren't expected? All the rooms here are gigantic. I know we were told how we got here, but no one's really mentioned "why"...

[Slowly he sits up, drawing knees towards his chest so he can rest his arms over them. Nice as it is to have a place to stay at all, its sheer size just makes it all the more lonely, especially for its emptiness.]

Also, I guess I'm supposed to talk to someone named Prima? This temple is his or something, right? Does he live here? Um. Well, I guess it can't hurt, right? -Mister Prima, if you've got a moment?

-ah! Okay, got it. Um. [He actually hadn't expected it to be so easy. And now he feels a little awkward.]

[to be fair, when Prima's been addressed in the past, it's usually been with specific intent or question...not so much for casual conversation.]

As...you. [beat] Ventus, correct?

[Oh, Ventus does have a reason to have been addressing him, he just got momentarily derailed.

The boy nods.]

Yeah, that's right. How- [But then these guys sounded like they were supposed to know a lot of things, weren't they...]

Never mind. I- well you probably know I arrived recently so there's no point in telling you that part. I've been talking to a lot of others that were brought here same as me, but no one's really mentioned why we're here.

And then it seems like something's wrong, so we're not really supposed to be here after all.

[He scratches his head.]

I've...been to other worlds before, although not quite the same way as this.

I don't know why I'm here, but even if it is by accident, maybe it's still for a reason. I'm still trying to learn what's going on here, but I want to help, if I can.

[Prima listens to Ven's words, politely quiet. when it gets to the 'questions', though - he nods, understanding them without them being asked]

The original plan, as we had it, was for Cybertron to be in a much further state before any other sort of life form came on it. Then the Lambda tore itself in to creation, and the Badlands themselves formed. This...changed things, quite a bit.

To say nothing of those like you who found themselves here...some, clearly meant to cause more damage and to hinder us further.

[He frowns.]

So....something messed things up on purpose?

Unicron.

He is our Enemy, and seeks nothing less than our destruction.

And there's no way to fix what he did? Or stop him?

It is a formidable task.

We are unable to get close to either the Badlands or the Lambda; as it stands, the only ones who can are those like you. But the danger is great; Unicron Calls from each place, seeking to claim those who would resist his power and his demand for them to serve him.

So... what can we do, then...?

At present? Build up our strength, and our Haven, in whatever ways we can.

[He nods.]

Well, like I said earlier, I want to do what I can. I just...don't know what. Not yet, anyway.

[At least he doesn't seem to be daunted by the fact that things are by default bigger than him around here.]

Are you situated, yet? I would make that your first priority. If you have found yourself secure...then there may be a task or two that you could do for me.

However, I will admit that I am only so familiar with...incybertronian capabilities. There was one who was able to travel to the Badlands, and return...but he was in a group of many, for safety.

Ah- yes! I've found my room. It's...big, but I think I can deal with it. And I've been told about a few things by some that have been here longer than me. -I've even made some friends already! [He's quite happy of that.]

I'd be happy to try my hand at whatever you might have for me. Um, if it helps to know, I do have a way to travel around without being stuck with going everywhere by foot. My Keyblade still seems to be working all right for the most part- obviously I probably won't be going to other worlds from here any time soon, but yeah...

If it is unsuitable, there are some other habitations within the quadrant...I'm afraid they aren't maintained by the Acolytes as the ones in the Temple, are, but they may be more scaled to someone of your size. That said, I am pleased to hear you have made some friends...and that you are so eager to help.

As a wielder of a Keyblade, I'm supposed to protect other worlds and help others. I may not be a Master yet, but I'm here, and if I can do anything to help everyone that's been just as helpful to me, then I want to.

If it's protection you're seeking to do, then patrolling the route between our Haven and the Badlands would be ideal. There are, however, other things which require doing if you are willing to try. The choice is yours.

Patrolling, huh... Can you tell me more about what's out there?

If all is well? Nothing.

But creatures do stray from the Badlands, from time to time, and if there is any trace of them...whether or not they assault us directly, we would know their movements.

At present? It is only my brothers and I, on our turns.

Another set of eyes would be valuable, if you chose. If you find anything you believe you can deal with, then do so, but do not be afraid to call for help.
