☄ [Video] :: Location - Prima's Temple

[The kid lies on his back on the large slab that's supposed to be a bed, arms folded behind his head as he stares up at the ceiling. Never mind how he got up on the thing.]

So I've been wondering... are we...not supposed to be here? Like- we weren't expected? All the rooms here are gigantic. I know we were told how we got here, but no one's really mentioned "why"...

[Slowly he sits up, drawing knees towards his chest so he can rest his arms over them. Nice as it is to have a place to stay at all, its sheer size just makes it all the more lonely, especially for its emptiness.]

Also, I guess I'm supposed to talk to someone named Prima? This temple is his or something, right? Does he live here? Um. Well, I guess it can't hurt, right? -Mister Prima, if you've got a moment?

....so...wait, I think you lost me.

... Yeah, okay, I... [He grimaces, shaking his helm. That's the best he can do, since it's not that hard, is it? The only thing different is thinking of a universe as not a singular thing, but several...

Dunno if I can explain it better than that, so. Er. Lost me as well. 'Cause you've got planets an' suns in solar systems, then solar systems in galaxies, which makes a universe... Which'd be the same as a separate reality, I suppose?

I...guess? [Pfff, planets? What're you talking about, worlds float like plates and are joined by unseen roads in the stars!]

Suppose we should just leave it at that?

[Cliffjumper shrugs, his confusion still obvious but with a tiny grin hovering on his faceplates anyway.

And as far as I know, even if we don't see much of them, yeah, the Firstforged do live in the temples, so they're theirs.

[The boy smiles crookedly, shrugging as well.] That's probably a good idea.

So...how many of them are there?

[Cliffjumper shrugs, somewhat relieved to have left that confusion behind. Maybe it really doesn't matter, as even if something is different wherever this kid comes from... Things still work as normal (as normal as it can, anyway), here.]

Well, 'round seven we get marked by at least? Dunno if there's more that just don't bother with us.

Oh yeah, those marks...

[He absently runs a hand over the sleeve covering his odd tattoo.]

What, the glyphs?

Think it partly has somethin' to do with who we match or something? I ain't sure. Besides that, though... Apparently, if you ain't got a glyph, the Lambda will affect us negatively... drive us mad an' violent.

[Cliffjumper grimaces and shrugs. Hard to not believe it partly at least...]

Had an attack a while ago by creatures that came through the rift, all of 'em unmarked.

[The boy tilts his head, brow arching. Well, that part he hasn't heard about.]

Really? I didn't know it did anything more than just pull us over here...

Does that happen often? The attacks like that?

Not a clue. It's happened once so far, but I ain't sure how long the earliest ones who got here have been here, so either it's rare, or just one in a row of others or somethin'.

[Either way, not knowing which it is isn't a good idea, but how to go about getting the needed information...]

Well, either way, it definitely doesn't sound like a good thing.
