[The video clicks on as Rung settles on the edge of his bed, looking much better than he had previously--at least more put together and collected. Without the constant ache in his head, he's been able to settle a bit more though the whole..feel of this place still isn't all that comforting. Not yet at least. ~~Doesn't help that he's been both upsetting and helping others it seems.]~~

I figured it might be wise for me to officially offer my services, so to speak, to everyone currently taking residence here since I seem to already be working myself back into the practice. As some of you know, I am a psychiatrist and, as such, am more than willing to sit down with anyone that may need it and just listen and offer advice.

[He pauses, fingers tapping against the edge of the bed as Rung glances down momentarily, considering something before he glances up once more with a faint smile.]

I suppose the first thing to establish would be a potential space I could use for such a practice, if anyone has any suggestions for that sort of thing.

But that's not...I shouldn't. It's selfish.

Everyone does things that are a bit selfish, here and there. It's typical nature for any being. That doesn't mean you shouldn't feel the desire to stay; shouldn't want to stay here where you can still repay that debt to him.

[Pauses.]

We have no idea how long we'll be here or what's going to happen so just make the best of it. Live each day as it comes and do what you feel is the best thing to do. You have the opportunity to repay this debt you feel you owe so aim to do so.

But typical nature doesn't mean it's right. I've heard other species say that our nature is violence and war.

[He sighs.] You're right. I shouldn't let the future mar the present. [He lets the past do that enough.]

Violence and war can be the nature of any species--are apart of every species actually. It's unfortunate but the truth. But we don't have to be defined by that.

[Gives the other a soft sort of look.]

Make the best of the time you do have with him, Drift. That's all you can really do since we don't know much about what's going on. Just..keep being you and I think you'll be alright and figure out your place in all this.

I don't think it's that easy, Rung. I'm hardly the only one having, well, problems with that.

_{I will. I'm trying.} I just don't want to mess it up.

It's a lot easier than you think it is, Drift. And we all mess up, it's bound to happen at some point. Just be prepared to fix your mistakes and keep moving on. Don't just wallow in what happens.
