[The video clicks on as Rung settles on the edge of his bed, looking much better than he had previously--at least more put together and collected. Without the constant ache in his head, he's been able to settle a bit more though the whole..feel of this place still isn't all that comforting. Not yet at least. ~~Doesn't help that he's been both upsetting and helping others it seems.]~~

I figured it might be wise for me to officially offer my services, so to speak, to everyone currently taking residence here since I seem to already be working myself back into the practice. As some of you know, I am a psychiatrist and, as such, am more than willing to sit down with anyone that may need it and just listen and offer advice.

[He pauses, fingers tapping against the edge of the bed as Rung glances down momentarily, considering something before he glances up once more with a faint smile.]

I suppose the first thing to establish would be a potential space I could use for such a practice, if anyone has any suggestions for that sort of thing.

You're not a liability. Some people just have skills that are more useful out of combat. The guys with guns still need someone to keep them sane and in one piece, you know.

...I suppose. I just don't want anyone going out of their way for me when there are far more important things and individuals to be looking after.

Importance is what you make of it. The world can change drastically, all depending on one person - not necessarily someone you'd consider important - living or dying.

[He's quiet for a moment, just mulling that over even if he doesn't think he's anyone that will ever be considered important, to be honest.]

I guess that is true, at least from things I've heard and seen.

I happen to know it's true. You're probably making more of an impact than you expect, even now.

[Flinches a bit but chuckles weakly at the same time.]

Where I'm from, that actually makes you pretty normal. All things considered.

Good to know I'm at least normal somewhere.

Not my fault you seem like a pretty normal, stable guy, in spite of this place being my first experience with your species.

I suppose in comparison to some of the other Cybertronians I may seem normal, though I suppose, to them, I'm a bit of an oddity. So it goes both ways.

Heh. It really does depend. One person's normal is another's weird. Especially around here. At least, that's the feeling I get.

Very true. We all have our own definitions of it. Though I personally think there is no such thing as truly normal.

You're probably right about that. Everyone has a different standard of normal so who could really judge.

I believe it's ultimately easier to just accept everyone for who they are and be done with it, at the end of the day.

That is really a pretty good philosophy. Judge everyone on their own merits rather than as 'the average one' or 'that strange guy'. You're pretty smart.

[He chuckles sheepishly.]

Thank you, though I'm not sure I'm all that smart. Just hopeful I suppose.

It's at least clever. Might be hopeful too though, of people treating each other well.
