[The video clicks on as Rung settles on the edge of his bed, looking much better than he had previously--at least more put together and collected. Without the constant ache in his head, he's been able to settle a bit more though the whole..feel of this place still isn't all that comforting. Not yet at least. Doesn't help that he's been both upsetting and helping others it seems.]

I figured it might be wise for me to officially offer my services, so to speak, to everyone currently taking residence here since I seem to already be working myself back into the practice. As some of you know, I am a psychiatrist and, as such, am more than willing to sit down with anyone that may need it and just listen and offer advice.

[He pauses, fingers tapping against the edge of the bed as Rung glances down momentarily, considering something before he glances up once more with a faint smile.]

I suppose the first thing to establish would be a potential space I could use for such a practice, if anyone has any suggestions for that sort of thing.

[Break someone else's friend. Because Whirl is here, crashing through the window, sending shards of glass and angry copter everywhere. He lands on his feet, his guns aiming at the large mech's center mass.]

[Rung had managed to focus on Fort Max for a split moment before Whirl was suddenly there, the therapist jerking back--or at least trying to--ending up sinking to the ground as his vents cycled quickly.]

Please please please just stop.

[It was murmured softly, Rung unable to really stop the throbbing in his head now as he held it with both hands.]

[Action] WHIRL HAS COME TO SAVE THE DAY

and he's about to step forwards towards Rung, to try and - Rung calmed him down before, right? maybe he can do something like that - when the window crashes in. Maximus spins around, looking utterly stricken, an emotion he can't even try to hide with Whirl's entrance.

there's nothing he can say or do to defend himself. his optics lower to the guns, but he doesn't even try.

[Sure, you tower over Whirl. But Whirl is full of angries right now. And honestly, doesn't give a frag.]

[His optics fully dim for a second, head ducking as he forces himself to calm down--forces himself to relax completely. It's hard, especially with the situation so very similar in a way to the one haunting him but--]

Whirl.

[He manages to get the name out as his vents cycle quickly again, Rung staring at the floor as his optics brighten again.]

Let him--let him go. P-Please.

[As scared as he may be, he doesn't want anyone hurt.]

[for a long few moments, he doesn't even more. he just looks at the guns, waiting for them to fire. he can imagine it pretty clearly, all told...

when Rung speaks, he looks up, slowly. and - just as slowly - starts to raise his hands shoulder-high, palms facing Whirl

[Whirl sidles around, getting between Rung and Fortress Maximus.]

You heard him. Go.

[The tone of his voice says there's a countdown going on in his head. Three. Two....]

[He manages to look up, hands lowering just a touch even as the throbbing continues, watching Fort Max from around Whirl as much as he can. There's a pleading sort of look there despite the fear, the therapist just wanting everyone to walk away from this in tact.]

[Action] /exits stage right

[well, he doesn't...run, out.

but it goes without saying that Fort Max no longer wants to be here. he wants to be as far away as possible. without even a second look at Rung, he's moving for the door; shoving it out of his way before moving, very quickly and very purposely, /out/]

[Action] nice going, snagglepuss

[Whirl waits, just in case. Hey, Fort Max. You shove a pipe through a copter once, he's never going to turn his back on you again.]

[He mutters over his shoulder.] You want me gone? I can wait outside or...something.

[Because who in their right mind wants Whirl around when they're feeling fragile?]

...No...please just....I don't...

[He knew he shouldn't be alone at the moment--he was with enough now to realize that. And, believe it or not, he did trust Whirl. Quite a bit.

It took a moment for Rung to pull himself together enough to slowly work himself upright so he was standing again, still leaning against the wall as his vents cycled quietly.]

Thank you...for coming.

[Action]

Eh. [Stop being nice, it weirds him out. Whirl activates the safeties on his guns, rendering them harmless. For now.]

It's why you called me isn't it?

I..but...you didn't have to come. So I'm thanking you. For being here.

[Optics brightening again, Rung forces himself away from the wall a few steps, trying his best to collect himself as he glances at the door then to the hole in the wall...

And then finally Whirl himself.]

...I...I must seem pretty pathetic for freaking out like that.

[He looked away again, feeling miserable suddenly because he'd failed at his job.]

[Action]

Right. Like I'd let someone kill you.

[Whirl snorts, optic flat.] I dunno. Seems to me, you know, locked in a room with a huge, armed psychopath who ripped your fraggin' thumb off is valid 'freak out' territory.

[There it was again. Another of those moments that Rung wasn't quite sure how to take though a part of his desperately did want it to be what it sounded like and seemed--that maybe they were friends still.]

Still...Thank you, Whirl. I mean it.

[Rung winced at what the other had to say next, glancing down, fidgeting a bit.]

I--yes I suppose..it is..but still.

Yeah don't mention it.

[Seriously. Don't mention it to anyone. He'll die of embarrassment.]

What? You think you gotta be better than everyone?

[Oh he won't mention it, but he's always going to remember it, Whirly.]

N-No that's not what I meant at all! I just--My problems aren't as bad as some, that's all.

[He was floundering a bit, getting nervous and fidgety but he was trying to hide it as he clutched his hands together for a moment to stop their movements.]
