See, there were all these rips and tears left in the areas between dimensions and planes and someone had to fix them before they caused too much damage. That's where the Guardians came in. We had equipment that could sense the anomalies and we'd go close 'em up.

I was the group's tactician, Star Lord is the leader, Gamora and Drax are the heavy hitters, Phyla is...well she's a heavy hitter too but girl's got a lot more going for her than just that. Adam Warlock is our magic guru. Groot is our brute force and my best friend, mind you.
