[For anyone else whose seen it, it's clear Jetfire's inside the main structure of Liege's temple, the crystalline walls of the corridors partly seen at an angle while Jetfire frowns thoughtfully up at something... probably just another wall of said corridor.]
A warning, for anyone who either lives in, or would come by Liege Maximo's temple and isn't... hm, well-versed in complex math as applied to certain self-replicating patterns--- [He finally looks down into the feed, but looks somewhat... distracted.]
The corridors are fractals, from what I've observed. Compare it to a complicated labyrinth. I haven't yet had the chance to explore them fully, but it would be unpleasant if someone got lost.
[And he is going to deliberately go in there and "get lost" at some point, to try and figure it out. For the moment, however, merely this heads-up.]

[Jetfire shrugs, since there was also all the talk about a war "of the gods", of being locked away and that "someone" shouldn't have let their creations... dabble.]

Took his word on that, did you?

[As well as... well. A feeling. But we won't talk about that. Jetfire doesn't like to acknowledge such... non-scientific clues.]
This has got to be the longest, most positive conversation he's had all game
Well, this IS Jetfire... and I am bullshitting his reasons since they aren't explained /o\
He further stopped Grimlock's fully-powered energo-sword - which is a normal weapon, but using energon to power a forcefield around the weapon which multiplies its normal abilities many times - with his hand alone.
[Reasons enough, Starscream?]
That's okay. BS is kind of the premise of all things TF
But instead of acknowledging any of that, Starscream sneers:]
And what was he saying?
Indeed. :| Also trying to make this sound important is hard.
On its own, it was things that might not have much meaning, and even emphasis the hubris... But when he claimed I - and by extension all of us - understood so little about what we were and what Cybertron was, as well as talking about how infinity wasn't far enough away to keep him contained, nor... ah, eternity too long...
Mmm, lacking the context of the situation might make that sound a lot less important than it was, but no normal mech would have been able to stop a fully powered energo-sword with his bare hand.
[Jetfire's reluctant to drag up the whole... Seal of Primus, Angles of Dissolution and the extraction of the energy from their spark cores thing.]
If it's any consolation, sometimes you just can't win with (a) Starscream
The only thing I'm hearing here past what could be the ravings of any religious lunatic (or Megatron for that matter) is that this 'Fallen' friend of yours has heavily reinforced arms. How lucky for him.
You must feel so special to have been in his company.
You can't, no, but at least he's got the patience to deal with it.
[Not that he'd had the chance, and wouldn't get one again, either. At least as far as he knew, but there was bad static clinging to a memory file in particular, but he'd just ignore that.]
Jetfire, you are a saint
And then eventually, Starscream says, in a bit of a strange voice:]
What was he trying to power?
[Oops. And there's his 'scientific curiosity' rearing its head]
He was just made this way. And that should be "three others" not four. /o
Not power anything as such; rather break down. The device was supposed to open a sealed area of the Well of All Sparks.
[Of course, he's not going to be completely forthcoming here, so maybe it'll sound more normal than Jetfire trying to recount what the Fallen said.]
Whoever thought making Starscream the way he is... gosh, what were they thinking?
Really. The Well of All Sparks. [Well.]
[Things keep getting curious and curiouser.]
You know, this conversation has been, er, enlightening. And I can't help but find myself enthralled with your recounts of ... your experiences. Truly, our worlds are very different, but the similarities they (may) share, well... I believe we have quite a bit to learn from one another.
I'd be honoured to discuss this with your further. In person.
Maybe that was all that was left for spark energy in the batch he came from?
Indeed. I'm uncertain how he found it, since no one knew it was there. Though that could, of course, lend strength to the argument of his age, and his designation.
["Enthralled"? Starscream, if this was video, you'd be privy to an arch stare from Jetfire, but... well, it isn't. That was just an... odd way, to say the least, to phrase it.]
I wouldn't mind that at all. Any particular place you'd like to meet?
Starscream being the runt of the batch... makes a WHOLE lotta sense. Thematically too.
But, uh. Not presently. I'll contact you when I am free.
Hahah, yes.
And by that point I might have figured out the equation configuration of the fractals used in the corridors.
