[Oh, hello there. A robot with an accent. And... a face that may just be vaguely familiar to some. Even if the rest of his frame... isn't. It's sort of huge.]

Cybertron. Or so I'm told. One might almost mistake it for another world entirely, when it lacks the gratuitous explosions and warships. That said, I'm not entirely convinced. Is this truly Cybertron? And, if so, how is it the planet appears... so much more intact than it conceivably should?

[Is he talking to himself, or to the Link? Hard to say.]

Which brings me to yet another issue with the current predicament, I suppose. Optimus? Ratchet? You were here a moment ago, don't tell me you've been left out of this nonsense.

[Because that's just not fair.]

Once more. Optimus? Ratchet? ... Jetfire? This is Perceptor, and I would appreciate a status update, if you've time in your terribly crowded schedules.

[The last comes out more than a little irritated. None of this makes sense, and that is a problem.]

Go on. What exactly do you know of this Lambda? They weren't entirely forthcoming when I asked elsewhere.

It would appear to me a rip in space-time, connecting various universes through an anomaly which just so happens to open directly above this version of Cybertron. Currently there is no known way to travel back through it to our respective points of origin.

In space-time? I'd thought such a thing was purely theoretical in nature. [He tilts his head.] ... though, given our current conversation, it would appear I'm entirely mistaken.

Has anyone attempted, and yes, I'm aware of how preposterous this sounds, simply... flying back through the anomaly? Provided, of course, it's something that can actually be reached by physical means.

I'm afraid this place puts even the most theoretical of ideas to the test. Quite recently we had what I can only describe as a hiccup in the laws of reality involving certain pages originating from one of the First Forged.

While I have not personally supervised any activity that meets that criteria, I believe that given the number of flight-capable individuals currently among the population it is entirely feasible that someone, at some point, has attempted to fly back through the anomaly. The fact we remain here would suggest that it did not work.

Ah, true. Though I would be interested in questioning said flight-capable individuals. Perhaps someone amongst them might be open to a bit of experimentation.

Recently there were a series of improbable events involving spontaneously appearing objects, and physical or personality changes within certain individuals. It was only after the fact that these changes were attributed to certain pages lost by one of the First Forged.

That is entirely probable. I would suggest asking them directly for their opinion on the matter.

Considering I'm having a rather pleasant conversation with someone proposed to be an alternate version of myself... I believe it's safe to assume my mind is well and truly open already.

I believe I mentioned it already, but there is at least one other version of ourselves wandering about the place, although I have not spoken with him recently and do not know of his whereabouts. He seemed a great deal... more exuberant in bearing than either of us.

Curious, though. I should wonder what would cause such a drastic difference in personality. Admittedly, I have been told I also display a tendency for exuberance, on occasion.

I would assume that, if we are all basically the same individual, the factors affecting his personality would be environmental.

True. Though that would also depend upon whether one prefers to believe the core personality is shaped by experience, rather than a state determined when one first comes online.

I'm inclined to believe the former, though I have heard there is evidence to the latter.
