I hope I can help in the peaceful survival of the people here. Greater advances are made through unity than war, and I'm sure we all want to go to our respective homes. Or... do you?

I wouldn't say we're united. Just that most all of us realize that fighting here is a useless waste of resources, and a meaningless waste of time and energy when what any of us were fighting for doesn't even exist here. Of course, I'm only speaking for the Cybertronians here, the Autobots and any Decepticons I'm aware of. With the possible exception of someone named Overlord, but I don't know enough about him to say much. I just know he wronged a few people. Seems like the fledgling 'law enforcement' - [sorry if his tone slips a little with annoyance or mild derision - he IS actually trying to be neutral at the moment] - intends to deal with him. "Fairly", they claim. But of course the humans and other beings here aren't even part of our war, so they no reason to fight either. That I'm aware of.

[It's only half-subconsciously, but . . . yeah, he's . . . not addressing that last question. Not right away, anyway.]

And what was it you were fighting for? [Because Mirage is fairly certain he's standing on what the Autobots in his world were fighting for.]

The progression of the law enforcement team should be [~~watched carefully~~] interesting. Will you join it? [The tone of his voice clearly said no, but Mirage was trying to prompt further response or informaiton from the seeker. And of course, his silence on the last question spoke louder than words.]

It's not likely. I prefer to keep to myself, and I can't imagine being any good as a law enforcer. [Actually he could, but he didn't want to right now. Or maybe ever.]

Tell me about your First Forged?

Not mine. Any more than I'm "theirs". Regardless of what mark they've put on me. [Never mind the fact that, with his mentality, he finds himself subconsciously wanting to follow Alpha Trion because he needs SOMEONE to take charge and command him. He's a follower more than a leader. And it's what's comfortable, familiar.]

I haven't met any of them except for Alpha Trion. He seems to be a friendly enough mech, and knowledgeable. He has an extensive library and seems to be a chronicler or something.

If this world and its inhabitants are new, what are the books about? Other cultures and planets? [If everything he was told was to be believed.]

I’d imagine so. The planet is supposedly new, but I get the impression the Firstforged aren’t.

Interesting. It might be worth looking into. Perhaps I shall have to branch out and try to speak with my first-forged.
