[ Makeshift is busy kicking his way through the wreckage, making a show of looking when in actually putting in nearly zero effort. He's not happy to say the least, but maybe if he makes a good enough show the other mech will get bored of him and let him leave.

While he searches he's on his guard, as watchful as always, listening carefully and watching at the corners of his vision for movement. He knows the junk pile is a pretty common area for others to be frequenting, and he doesn't want any surprises. ]

[Surprises are, unfortunately, exactly what Dead End has planned. He's hungry, and knowing his luck he doesn't have much time before he starves to death. His systems certainly aren't happy with the lack of the more powerful energy gained from power cores.

So Dead End does his best to sneak up behind the Vehicon, once he catches sight of him. Swords at the ready, he makes a dash for him, knowing just where to stab to get at the core.]

[ The slightest noise makes Makeshift turn, just in time to see Dead End dash at him. Great. Just what he needed. ]

What are you doing?!

[ Besides attacking him, obviously. Makeshift is quick to backpedal, one hand smoothly transitioning into blaster form and aimed at Dead End's chest. ]

[When his blade doesn't meet the Vehicon's chest, instead being faced with a blaster, he frowns. Well as much as a mech with his kind of mouth can frown. This was not going well.]

Since when did you Vehicons learn to dodge?

[He has to find a way to turn this around.]

I'm hungry and a power core from this place won't have nearly enough energy as yours does.

[ Makeshift keeps his blaster trained on Dead End, his voice dubious. ]

And it didn't occur to you to get one from an Autobot? I'm on your side, dumbaft.

Right an Autobot, one of those guys with friends all over the place. They are delicious, but I'd like to live more than a few days after getting some fuel. No one ever misses Vehicons. Unfortunate on your part, but right now you're the safest bet.

[His grip on his swords tighten as he shifts his weight, optics narrowing. If he charges he's going to get a shot to the chest, and he doesn't want more things to buff and fix up. Instead he begins to slowly circle the other mech.]

[ The blaster hums as Makeshift charges it, ready to fire at a moments notice. ]

[He continues to circle, optics watching that blaster.]

[He stares at the Vehicon for a moment before venting a sigh.]
