[AUDIO]

[Audio clicks on, with the sound of someone fumbling with something before Arcee's voice comes in.]

Ratchet? Fowler?

Anyone? What the scrap is this thing?

Whoever's managing the Ground Bridge, I think you missed.

[Pause, as if waiting for a response, and a frustrated sound from her.]

For the love of Primus... Okay. If any Autobot slash US military person can even hear this, get me a Bridge out of wherever here is. I'm missing a young Scout named Bumblebee, and more importantly, two humans named Jack and Miko.

We're in sort of a dangerous situation, so let's make this hasty, fellas.

[OOC: Annnnnnnnnd with an extremely belated introduction thanks to health and life, say hi to Arcee. FINALLY. Yes I did just jack my sample post because it works for her just coming in. :D;;]

Do you even know what a kitten is?

I don't think you told me anything of kittens at the Keep, so... No, I don't, but I could make a guess.

... A member of Earth's fauna, and if it's large enough to be possible to rescue from a tree, not some sort of insect, and if it needs to be rescued from a tree, not a bird, and not a water-dwelling creature either, so I would surmise a land-dwelling mammal of small to moderate size, capable of climbing but getting into spots it might not easily get down from... Probably a young of its species.

This does of course still leave a wide varity of mammals it could be.

[He shrugs, and then gives Starscream a look.]

... But what does this matter? And perhaps you could reveal what a kitten is, then?

It matters because I know, and you don't.

And I may tell you eventually.

But not now.

Which is too bad for you, isn't it?

... I'm sure one of the humans present could at least describe to me what a kitten is, Starscream. Being that it's from their planet and all.

[What about that, huh.]

Oh yeah, and what if they don't?

[Blast. He's going to have to attempt to get all the humans not to tell Jetfire.]
angleofscience: (and then Jetfire went neutral - blank)

I don't see why they wouldn't, since even if someone refuses, or another one gets... creative, there's more than one human from Earth here to ask.

Fine. Go ask the world what a kitten is. See if I care.

Thank you for the permission, Starscream.

[Dryly said, before Jetfire paused, and almost killed the feed before he focused back on the screen again. He'd been annoyed over the cause for this discussion, yes, but it was, in the end, a small thing. Especially since Starscream had agreed to not do it again.]

Come fly with me later?

All right -- just as long as we aren't going anywhere weird.

I'm not sure there is anywhere weird around here to fly. Merely wanting to explore a bit, and spend some time with you.

[The smile is a tiny but sincere thank you for agreeing.]

Heh, well, I'm sure there is. I'll come by in a bit, does that work?
angleofscience: (smile - as predicted!)

Ping me when you're close and I'll come outside and meet you.

[As in, yes, it certainly worked.]
