[There's a moment of fuzz before the video actually settles and comes through completely, Smokescreen standing just outside Alpha Trion's temple, one hand resting on his hip as he holds the camera with the other. He'd been filled in by an acolyte, of course, but that didn't make him any less prepared to believe completely, meaning that he had to go out and see everything for himself. A part of him wanted to find Alpha Trion himself--mostly because he couldn't believe the other was still functioning--but right now he wanted to see if he could find any of the others.]

Smokescreen reporting in. Anyone from Team Prime out there? I figured it'd be best to touch base with at least someone before I started trying to just find you guys or something like that.

[Despite the odd nature of his situation, Smokescreen seems pretty relaxed--or he's at least keeping himself together pretty well because he's not really sure how he got back to Cybertron. Sure the acolyte had told him about that giant hole that was dumping people through but..that..was about as believable as saying Starscream had changed for the better. At least in his opinion.]

Arcee? Bumblebee? Bulkhead? Ratchet? Optimus? Anyone? Come on guys, don't leave me hanging please. I really want to get the real details of whatever's going on and you're the ones I want to hear it from. As much as I'd love to just believe this was all good and well and Cybertron was really in an okay state like this, you'll understand if I completely and totally don't believe it right?

[He's itching to go and do something, like always, shifting his weight back and forth as his doorwings twitch some.]

...Just because it seems to be the thing to ask, which Team Prime? And I mean that in a 'I'm not sure if we're from the same place' sort of way.

[He offers a slight grin, shrugging a bit.]

Everyone you mentioned is on the team. They're based on Earth, as are we. Oh, I'm Blades of the Sigma-17 rescue team. It's a pleasure to meet another member of Team Prime, whether or not we're from the same place.

Hm..sounds like we're sort of talking about the same place. Or at least some place similar.

[And hey, this boy seems nice, even if he's much much much more of a rookie than Smokescreen himself by the sound of it.]

Rescue team huh? I remember those, back when I was on Cybertron and working with Alpha Trion. It's a pleasure to meet you, Blades.

I guess they're not very popular anymore. [And by that he meant extinct. Except his team of course.]

[He should have asked Cliffjumper that same thing but he was sure he'd be in touch with the other soon enough.]

And it's just the truth. Alpha Trion talked about the rescue teams and all the good they did quite a bit.

[Ok, now Blades was feeling a little shy.]

Alpha Trion talked about rescue teams? [Of all the things that bot had to talk about... and for him to speak fondly of them... It was like Optimus Prime endorsing their team all over again.]

[He grins, nodding a bit.]

Yeah he did. That's how I learned about them, actually. Well, a lot more than I knew about them.

It's too bad you never got to witness a rescue team in action. They were really important back when they were around. Um... Just for a frame of reference, how long did Alpha Trion say it had been since there had been rescue teams on Cybertron? [Since no one would tell him how long they had been in stasis.]

If I remember right there was still a least some traces of rescue teams left when I was on Cybertron. I mean, I was in stasis for a bit after I escaped the Decepticon ship...not a really long time but a lot of time has passed since I missed most of the war.

Oh, ok... [That didn't answer his question at all.] My team was in stasis since before the war really got into swing, and no one will tell me how long it's been. [For all Blades knows, he might be one of the oldest bots around.]

I..don't really know an exact time frame either, sorry. [He realizes he didn't really answer the question but he doesn't have many answers to give.]

It's ok. I think I'm destined never to know. [Sad but true.]

But hey, we're both alive and that's what matters, right?

Yeah, definitely. I mean, I'm not thrilled about being here but like I said to one of the others, it's better than being dead, most definitely.

[He's quiet for a second.]

Yes, definitely better than being dead. [That wasn't a thought that crossed Blades' mind, and it never would.]

No, I'm the only one... Which is fine. It just means the others are back on Griffin Rock protecting the citizens. [That word just made him think of Chase.]

...Well, then, looks like we have to be friends so we can keep each other from being lonely, right?

[He grins before it fades into a thoughtful look--one that had an edge of sly to it as well if one knew what to look for.]

Say, Blades....there's this bot I've been talking to that could really use cheering up..he's really sad....

[A bright smile lit up the copter's face.] I'd love to be friends with you. [Finally. Someone.]

[And no, Blades doesn't know what to look for, even if he should have figured it out by now with Cody and Dani always manipulating him.]

Oh! We should get him a fruit basket! Um, well... I guess there's not really fruit here, and bots don't eat fruit, but it's what humans do to cheer each other up.

[Oh Primus this bot is adorably oblivious and Smokescreen should feel bad for getting him to do this with him but...well..he doesn't because it's Dead End they're doing it to.

He does like Blades though. The other is just too friendly not to like.]

Well what if we made something like a fruit basket but that Cybertronians can enjoy? Same concept, just different stuff?

I'm sure we could find some stuff in the Junk Pile he would like. Rung and I found a froggy umbrella the other day. It was so cute!
