[Accidental Video] [Transmitting from: The Junkpile]

[Oh hey the camera is rolling, that's interesting! Too bad there's nothing in sight besides a nearby junkpile. A groan can be heard from somewhere and a yellow hand appears on the feed, closely followed by a familiar face as Cheetor does an unexpected faceplant. He feels so... wrong. So weak, he almost can't push himself to his feet.

What happened?

A green eye opens and stares listlessly at his communicator for a moment, as if he can't comprehend what he's seeing. He blinks and suddenly it all comes back to him: Jaguar! His mission! Wait, what happened he can remember...

Oh.

He died didn't he?

Yes.

Wow.

This brings up a whole host of new questions, but first he should, y'know, say something. He manages to push himself up into a sitting position, leaning against a metal column as he tries to figure out what he should say.]

So...

I guess I failed my mission. Sorry Ultra Magnus, I'll do better next time.

[He has yet to truly wrap his mind around what just happened to him...]

[He's feeling too out of it to try to get into a fight with Kay right now. Maybe later when he feels better.]

[Even Kay knows when to be serious.]

[She honestly sounds confused.]

Do you...come back when you die?

I guess... we don't die here.

[He groans and closes his eyes. Cheetor's so tired...]

I don't know what's going on

[Okay, that was a brain break on it's own, but...she has to see this for herself. The girl's voice is soft, stuttering, and nervous.]

Just stay there, I'll come find you. Okay?

I'm not going anywhere.

[Even the prospect of being approached by an organic doesn't seem that unusual anymore.]

[The feed clicks off as Kay darts out of Alpha Trion's temple. She'd ask one of the fellow templemates for a ride, but she didn't want to inconvenience them. So...it takes a good hour or two for her to wander to the junk pile, completely out of breath when she arrives. That doesn't stop her from looking for Cheetor, though.]

Cheetor?...Are you here?

[At this point Cheetor's feeling a little more energetic, and has even managed to push himself to his feet. There's no way that he has enough energy to run anywhere, which completely frustrates him. He's made to run. If he can't run, then there's no point to him right?

He sighs and sits back down as he hears Kay's voice from somewhere nearby.]

I'm right here!

[Following the trail of his voice, it doesn't take long for Kay to find him. After all, he's a giant cheetah print robot. A blind man stuck in a box with his hands over his ears can find him.]

Cheetor!

[Without hesitation, she runs up and wraps her arms around one of those foot tires.]

[A month ago he would have panicked and tried to run, but now he watches her with a detached sort of interest. Look at that... he's not melting.]

You really came out all this way just for me?

[Don't they hate each other or something?]

[Her hand runs along that tire, as if petting him.]

Sure! You seemed alone...and...well, I can't imagine how I'd feel if I died.

Well, and came back to life.

...Thank you.

[Slowly, he reaches out and cautiously touches the side of her head before flinching away. Wow organics feel really... weird. She's so squishy.]

[When he touches her, her eyes dart to the metal, slightly nervous. She knew Cheetor didn't fully trust her, but thanked her stars that her optimism and bravery surpassed that fear.

And when he flinches away, she nuzzles that cheek into that wheel.]

I'm sorry!...that you died, I mean...

Are you always this cold?

I guess it was kinda my fault. I didn't think he'd be that hard to deal with. What I wanted to do was to bring him in and have him interrogated before he hurt someone. It's my job to protect people.

[The cold comment puzzles him slightly. He doesn't feel cold.]

I'm not cold... at least not to me.

[Look at those eyes light up as you explain, Cheetor.]

So you're a hero of justice...?

[He puffs a little at her admiration.]

You can say that!

I'm a cop and I want to put away all the criminals where they belong.

A lot of my friends are cops and put away criminals too! Even my dad did that...

Wow...I had no idea, Cheetor! That's...that's so cool!

[Cheetor has no idea what a dad is, but he'll just roll with it.]

Y'know... you're not so bad.

[He hesitantly reaches out and holds a hand open for her, a wary invitation for her to climb on.]

[She looks at the hand for a minute, smile spreading wide. Normally she'd hop right up, but...she hesitates.]

It's okay?

[She still hops up, but... at least she asked first.]

[He successfully manages to not flinch away this time. His next problem is what he should do now. There is an organic on his palm, what do people usually do with organics?

Slowly, he raises her until she's level to his face. Wow, she has a lot of little details up close!]

You definitely don't look like you can spit acid.

[He's hoping anyway.]

[She holds her arms out to balance herself as Cheetor lifts her, giving a smile at that comment.]

Of course not! That's gross!

[He reaches up and pokes her again, perhaps a little harder than before.]

How do organics protect themselves from harm? No offence, but you look kinda easy to break.

[That poke pushes her back a step or two, but she doesn't seem to mind. If anything, she's used to being toy-size.]

We have to wear special clothing called 'armor'. Otherwise it's really easy for us to get hurt if we fall from high places. Or attacked.

Clothing? Is that what this is?

[Not taking a moment to consider that it might be rude to do so, he gently tugs at the edge of Kay's skirt. Suddenly curious and, again, not thinking of the consequences, pulls it up to see what's underneath.]

Why don't you wear armour all the time?

[Nothing's wrong here obviously.]
