Yes, it would seem I've been tasked with a rather unpleasant notification...

Regardless, Commander Ultra Magnus wished me to inform the lot of you that he has, somehow, managed to subdue the Decepticon known as "Overlord", and, exceptionally pretentious title aside, wished the denizens of the Haven to be notified.

[There are some tapping noises, as he's apparently working on something while he makes this announcement.]

He is currently in the process of returning the casualties and wounded to the local medical bay. Any medical staff currently in residence are asked to prepare both themselves and their equipment as speedily as possible.

... which, I suppose includes myself. So if someone would be so kind as to ah, point me in the general direction...

[Wing has only just managed to get back from his misadventure with Jetfire and Blurr. He'd had a horrible sense of foreboding--strange feelings involving Drift that he still can't explain--that had driven him back to the surface.]

[He's not panicked anymore but he is looking harried, skittish and almost agahst at this news. The only saving grace is that somehow he knows Drift isn't dead.]

...Casualties? [NO.] Who?

[How could so much happen? He'd been gone barely two days. How could he have missed something like this, he should have been here to help...]

How is Perceptor? [Come to think of it you look kind of like him.] The one with mismatched optics. [Come to think of it Wing's not sure he's met you before... He'd make introductions, but it's a little off-center at the moment.]

[At this point, Perceptor starts to wonder if he shouldn't edit his posting to list the dead and wounded. It would save on time, really. All this chatting is inefficient.]

Casualties include: a Wheeljack, Kagerou, Fracas, and a McCrane.

[He sounds as if he's reading off a list, without any real attachment to any of those names.]

As for my alternate... Last I heard he was alive, though I'm uncertain as to his overall condition. Hence the rather urgent need for medics.

[It might...but it might be a bit brusque too. A file attachment to the message would work though. At least that's what Wing would suggest...were he thinking more coherently.]

[As it is there's a strangled sound in reaction to the names. Horror stricken, he seems to draw in on himself, the pinions and audials slicking flat. A hand covers his mouth to hold back further noise as his optics shutter hard, but there's the sound of shuddering flight panels.]

[It takes a moment for him to regain the ability to speak.]

"_{Wh-where are they?}"

[... yes, that might be a far better solution, given how many of these reactions he seems to be fielding. Why on Cybertron did Magnus think handing this over to him was a good idea.]

[He... clears his throat. Or at least the Autobot version thereof.]

Commander Magnus is returning both the wounded and the... ah. The frames... to the medical bay.

[He pauses, then adds, in case this 'bot is going to do what all signs seem to point to him doing:]

He was rather unspecific as to the state of the casualties. I would prepare yourself for a fairly macabre sight, should you choose to arrive.

[His venting seems ragged. The hand over his mouth is more to prevent loss of composure than anything else, but once he sees the bodies that might be a different story.]

[Still...this all seems too unreal to be believable.]

And again...for the warning. [He shudders and his frown deepens with worry.] What about the survivors...?

In pieces. Though not nearly so much as the corpses, I should say. Perhaps that's rather why they're still functional.
