[Only Dirge's upper half is visible above a pile of scrap- he's been spending most of his time in the junkyard rather than the living space provided at the temple. Every once and a while he's been leaving with armfuls of stuff and heading back towards his room.]

...It's hard to think. [He's mumbling, mostly to himself but somewhat directed at the camera.]

I have enough trouble with that without something else crowding my processor. [He's sorting trash, slowly and methodically, with much less enthusiasm than usual.]

I want to go somewhere. To look for something. But I don't know what it is. [Growl] It's very frustrating.

I think I know what you mean. Like wanting to go on a quest, except it's not really the same urge. It's more... uncomfortable would be a good word it. Less thrill, more weird. And not the quirky fun kind of weird either.

[Even he's finding it a little harder than usual to remain chipper. That's a nice key indicator that something is wrong, as far as he's concerned.]

Quest. [He tries out that word carefully. Internal databanks show that it matches up with a long journey with a reward at the end.]

Yes. Just like that. But more annoying. And I don't know what the reward will be. Do you?

Yeah, a quest! Loads of fun if you do 'em right. Things go wrong sometimes though. I don't even the slightest clue though. Who knows if one even exists. And if it does, y'know... It's like you said. This feels all kinds of eerie. If there's a reward at the end, doesn't seem to me like it'd be a good one.

Still pretty curious about it though.

All rewards are good. That's the point of calling them a reward. ....Isn't it?
