[video] Such a new soul

[The video starts with a rather grisly scene, there is a robot on the junk pile, oil leaking from a large gash in his shoulder, as he looks up the camera, oil also seeping from the corner of his mouth.]

Can someone tell me what this is? Is this what happens when we die?

[His speech is clear though a little slow as if he is searching for all the things to say, he also doesn’t move at all, though the wound is sparking dangerously.]

I don’t think I was good enough to go anywhere nice when I died. Is this some kind of strange kind of dream? I don’t suppose the kid, the Boss, is here, is he?

[He looks quite pitiful in his own way, though he is holding himself a proudly as he can, slowly dying on the junk pile.]

[He remembers. What happened to Shadowmaru, himself, and Deckerd. It looks like Chieftain, but a bit different.

And... he sounds sincere.

Damn it. He knows what Deckerd would do.]

[He pauses a moment, trying to get a firm reading to give to the other in a time frame, but it seemed that the damage he had taken was making that hard to do.]

I don't know. I already thought I was dead, I can't tell how much longer I will hold together without help.

[That was something reserved for those with a much cleaner past than his. After all, how often do you call your god by name when you are a dirty sinner.]

[Yes, cause that's a comfortable thing to hear when you are bleeding to death.]

Look I wouldn't do anything to hurt him, not now. Heck, I'm as bad off as I am because I took the attack meant for J-decker, because he cares about him. I won't ever intentionally hurt him, if I did... I think I'd want you to kill me.

[He feels like he needs to apologize about fifty times over. Maybe not right now, but he doesn't deserve Wing's help like that.]

Don't worry about it Gunmax, there's been enough of that recently yes? ...and likewise. [Because he feels pretty bad too since he was less than helpful AND insensitive.]

I hope not. But the Chieftain I knew... his Super A.I. is like ours, based off of Deckerd. But the way he was made, it wasn't to protect people like us. Chieftain was made to kill J-Decker.

He almost did.

This one looks different. He's acting different. I think he's being honest. Deckerd... would give him a chance.
