[Broadcasting from the tallest peak he can find in the junk pile.]
[Someone has been through this before. Someone knows this drill. Someone has worked very, very hard to finally make it back to his Cybertron, only to find it all wrong. Again.
Someone probably has destroyed a few piles of junk in their anger.
However, someone also has paid attention to the communications on the network, and has ventured to the 'temples' that were mentioned, and has found them locked against him.
This someone is not surprised.]
Listen closely, and listen well.
[It is time to act. The feed opens with a closeup on Megatron's faceplates, optics blazing red, the scant remnants of gladiator paint still burned onto the metal.]
This is not where we belong, and I am done with this.
I am done with waking up to see an unfamiliar sun obscuring all-too-familiar stars. I am done with strangers being cast from world to world. I am done with mechs-who-would-be-gods so graciously patronizing us by allowing us to remain while simultaneously enforcing unethical segregation and I am done, finally, with the thwarting of destinies that I and my allies have slaved, toiled, and died to create.
You can listen to those who make the rules here if you desire to. I have heard a song like theirs, before.
Or.
[He flashes, briefly, a datapad that seems to have some sort of schematic on it--a schematic that looks (to those who are familiar with them) like a complicated space bridge.]
If you are 'done' as I am, you can help me.
I am Megatron, and I will deliver anyone that joins me to their rightful homes.
[A single, pointed tooth is visible in the smirk that finally dawns on his face. His interdimensional portal had only worked, once, but with the right mechs he would see it to completion again. Immediately.]
I guarantee it.

Can you ask your Firstforged? I know there were Cybertronians who could achieve orbit, as well.
Okay. I'll see if I can get in touch with Prima again.
-you said you were called Megatron, right? I met another by the same name, here. Oh, I'm Ventus, by the way. Ven's fine too.
[That doesn't surprise him.]
Megatron, yes. I will answer to Magnum as well. [Ven, then. Ventus sounds too much like a senator designation.]
Tell me more about this other...Megatron. Is it the one whose name ends in 'us?'
Okay. I guess it'd be less confusing if I called you Magnum.
[Brow furrows for a moment as he thinks.] No? Pretty sure it was just Megatron.
Magnum will be fine. [It's amazing how used to it he's gotten.] Can you tell me what this other Megatron looks like?
Y-you didn't? But I thought everyone that arrived here got one. If you don't, then...
[He shakes his head. Surely there's a mistake?]
...the other Megatron kinda looks similar to you, more silvery though? He said he used to be a teacher.
[He can't imagine what difference it would make to have one of the pretty tattoos.]
A teacher?
[He laughs, beginning to suspect who this other Megatron is.] A math teacher, perhaps?
No, that's not it! Cliffjumper told me whatever doesn't receive a glyph ends up going crazy!
[He appears genuinely concerned about this.]
...he didn't say exactly.
...
[Well. That explained why he'd not been let in the temples, at least.]
Did Cliffjumper have any proof of this?
[He didn't feel crazy.]
Another question, then. Kind demeanor? Friends with Soundwave?
[Looks like he has a couple other things to ask Prima too...]
Huh? Oh... He was really nice. And I think he did mention a Soundwave...
These Firstforged don't seem to notice the difference, though.
[It is something to keep an eye on.] Tell me, what good would a glyph do at keeping me from going insane?
[Oh, now he laughs!]
You've met my inverse, then. A...charming fellow, if I recall. Not big on the whole 'ends justifying the means' that us Decepticons tend to be known for, though.
...I don't know for sure. It's supposed to help protect from whatever affects the Lambda might have.
[The laugh startles him just a little. He blinks.]
Your..."inverse"? [Not the same as Unversed, right?] Decepticons?
[It was strange for him, actually. Seeing the night sky so clearly was still a bit of a privilege.]
Decepticons are the faction that I lead, one side of the Great Cybertronian War. [This is like an Axiom future history lesson.] This war links many universes, many Cybertrons, and many Earths in a similar conflict. [He assumes you are human, so he makes certain to include that last bit.] My inverse similarly leads the Decepticons, but he leads them in a manner akin to my enemies, the Autobots.
Hence the inversion.
Yeah, that's it.
[He listens with rapt attention, brow furrowing faintly. War seems to be a big thing for Cybertronians, considering how often he's heard them mention something of it since he'd come here. And at least from his talk with Cliffjumper, the boy's more or less gotten a handle on that there are different kinds of the same world, and he's heard about this earth-place then as well...]
...your enemies?
[Blink. Okay, he thiiinks he gets the idea at least, but then does that make this Megatron good or bad?]
[He suspects it's big enough for a small moon to fit through...which, given the tiny bit he knows about Unicron, might be apt.]
My enemies, the Autobots. Enforcers of the corrupted regime of my planet, maintainers of the laws which classified us by our form, those who value safety over freedom.
They'd tell it differently.
There's nothing wrong with safety though, is there?
[He looks back down at the screen.]
What was the war about?
No.
But the two--safety and freedom--must exist in a balance. If there are too many laws, then one is restricted from doing what one is capable of, or wishes to do.
The war began because the laws in place--the laws meant to protect our society--were dooming those who did not have particular shapes into lives of harsh, dangerous work.
If they could find work at all.
[Sorry, he's in speech mode now.]
...that's terrible. So you couldn't just...talk things over?
The first time I realized it wouldn't work, I was beaten almost to death in a jail cell.
...
The second time, I was sent off to die in a mine.
When the third time ended the massacre, I decided there would not be a fourth time.
Sometimes...sadly...words are not enough.
[And there are those who think the Autobots are the good guys. He'll never understand.]
Does this answer your question, at least?
It does.
Fortunately, it should take several million years for this world to come to that. You won't have to worry about it much.
