[Broadcasting from the tallest peak he can find in the junk pile.]

[Someone has been through this before. Someone knows this drill. Someone has worked very, very hard to finally make it back to his Cybertron, only to find it all wrong. Again.

Someone probably has destroyed a few piles of junk in their anger.

However, someone also has paid attention to the communications on the network, and has ventured to the 'temples' that were mentioned, and has found them locked against him.

This someone is not surprised.

Listen closely, and listen well.

[It is time to act. The feed opens with a closeup on Megatron's faceplates, optics blazing red, the scant remnants of gladiator paint still burned onto the metal.]

This is not where we belong, and I am done with this.

I am done with waking up to see an unfamiliar sun obscuring all-too-familiar stars. I am done with strangers being cast from world to world. I am done with mechs-who-would-be-gods so graciously patronizing us by allowing us to remain while simultaneously enforcing unethical segregation and I am done, finally, with the thwarting of destinies that I and my allies have slaved, toiled, and died to create.

You can listen to those who make the rules here if you desire to. I have heard a song like theirs, before.

Or.

[He flashes, briefly, a datapad that seems to have some sort of schematic on it--a schematic that looks (to those who are familiar with them) like a complicated space bridge.]

If you are 'done' as I am, you can help me.

I am Megatron, and I will deliver anyone that joins me to their rightful homes.

[A single, pointed tooth is visible in the smirk that finally dawns on his face. His interdimensional portal had only worked, once, but with the right mechs he would see it to completion again. Immediately.]

I guarantee it.

[Wow. Have an instinctively cringing Swerve. One (1) part scared witless and five (5) parts weirded out by seeing Megatron smile like he isn't going to bite the head off a turbofox and spit it in to an adoring crowd is weird.]

I'm really not surprised by that info, or that idea. Quick question though. What's the last thing you remember about the Cybertron we came from?
chatterbot: (Well this sure looks like data alright)

The whole revolution thing? Yeah. [He's not really gonna go further into it. The 'cons had a good idea, but they went too far.

Wow, that was not the answer he was expecting and it shows on his face.]

You're from way early in the war. Like waaaaay early.

A better plan than a war spanning millions of years that eventually reached the point where it got our entire planet slagged? Just about anything, I'm thinking, would probably be better. Bit late for that now though, at least where I come from. Would that even stop you? I'm thinking no.
chatterbot: (I'd rather you do it in the house)

In some alternate universe, maybe you will. [Because the future is already there for him, and it's pretty obvious you don't, Megs. But that is okay. As long as you don't go batshit, maybe it won't be so bad.]

Well, what's your general plan if you win?

[Mostly he's just looking for a certain answer. The answer being "not kill all the Autobots".]

That's it? [Swerve skepticism is pretty palpable in his tone.] I was thinking more along the lines of a five step plan. Who's gonna be in charge after you establish said meritocracy? Will you wait for it to stabilize before holding a vote? Will you just put yourself on top at the start? I mean, I'm not one for politics, but those seem like things people need to know.

If you have one, I wouldn't mind reading it. [It's be interesting to see what the 'cons were like before they decided to take their group and ramp it off an insanely high cliff, doing about fifty trillion ollies of batshit insanity on the way down.]

And how's it gonna run itself until we see that? [He's pretty sure he knows the answer to this, but like they say, straight from the horses mouth.]
chatterbot: (check please)

[personal profile] chatterbot 2012-12-13 02:46 am (UTC)(link)
[The plus of making it through the war mostly unscathed is that you don't end up completely bitter and hateful. Not that Swerve isn't an expert in repression by now.]

Huh. Well, I guess that's that then, isn't it? I mean, it's not totally but you know what I mean.

I guess so, if you think you can change it once you get back. I'm not really sure how the whole thing works, to be honest with you. I'm more of a matter-physics guy than a time-physics guy. But if it goes well, look me up there and tell me the whole story. I probably won't think you're crazy.

Or a might, but I'd probably listen anyway. Fear of eradication and all that. [TACT.]
