[Well, he got over that whole being dead thing fast. Must be a thing with Wreckers.  The feed shows Wheeljack at a distance, sizing up an empty area of the Haven, doing perimeters, measuring, you name it.  It might be better not to ask, but do you really want to take that chance? Best to just get it over with.  Wheeljack seems to realize the feed is on, which is understandable, putting his hands to his hips as he looks back at the empty plot.]

So. We've all been here how long...and no one's thought to build a ship?

[He puts his fingers in the picture-frame position, scratching his helm.]

Figure I'd try and remake my own ship, the Jackhammer. See what it's like up by the Lambda.

"It...was a good idea, Wheeljack"

[That voice was not his own, but seemed to come from the vicinity. It makes the Wrecker perk up considerably, though.]

I thought so too.

...

Any of you got some free time?

And Solus, if ya've got a minute...

I do.

Enough time to tell you that your ship won't get very far. Nor should it.

The Lambda has left the electromagnetic navigation fields of this planet unstable. You can certainly get off the ground, but the higher you go, the more the Lambda's influence will affect the sky, your readings, and your craft.

And more importantly, flying straight toward the Lambda is rather like walking into the Badlands. You will feel it's effects, much like you all felt it's Call before this recent surge of Glyphless, if stronger. Needless to say, it is not a pleasant experience.

[She pauses for a moment, thoughtful, before simply shrugging.]

Of course, you do not have to take my word for it. I would enjoy seeing this ship, and more readings on that monstrosity are always welcome - but you should know what you risk.

Your ship should be perfectly fine for low, planetary flight, depending on the level of shielding and compensators you have in your designs.

[She rattles off a few specs, not even blinking at the language. The height of the mid-to-lower atmosphere seems to be the upper limit for flight without too many issues.]

...Coming within less than half a hic of the Lambda would cause you serious complications. It's safe to say that the entire field area around it is a no-fly dead zone.

Outside of that, however, you should be able to pick up some...interesting readings that would be of value to me.

[She smiles faintly.]

I am always looking for data to aid in crafting shielding to negate some of the Lambda's effects, after all.

Good to hear.

[That promise earns another pleased look, expression quickly turning appraising at the request. Slowly, she nods, satisfied.]

I believe that can be arranged. Send me a copy of the specifications, and I will see what I have.
