[Broadcasting from just outside Megatronus Prime's Arena][Actionspam welcome]
[It was no surprise to him that his time on this new Cybertron was going better than his last three years on an ancient one. Parts for the portal were already being gathered and assembled, nobody was directly threatening to kill him, and he'd passed his schematics out to multiple individuals who had a shot at making it work. With nothing more to do on the project, himself, he'd decided to pursue a little...entertainment, and perhaps secure a bit of additional assistance on the way.]
[Besides, this arena was actually pretty nice.]
It's been almost a decacycle, and though little has changed in how these 'Firstforged' treat us, we've already managed to accomplish enough.
Of course, if we're to become monsters as I've heard claims we will be, then those of you who are marked should get a bit of practice in beforehand, hm?
[Without a further word, a bright purple glow illuminates the screen for a moment as Megatron unsheathes his energon mace from his hand-socket and gives it a whirl.]
I have a meeting with one or two already, so this message is for the rest...
Do you think you have what it takes, to go tread to tread with a Megatron?
[He'll be waiting.]
Locked to Overlord
This goes double, for you.
[Yes, he knows you are in a prison and all. However, he doesn't suspect that's going to stop you, if the rumors he has heard are true.]
Locked to Barricade and Ambulon
As it helps to be prepared, I could use the assistance of a medic. Willing to lend a hand?
[Although it's phrased as a question, he expects at least one of you to be there. Otherwise, he might get...cranky. You know. If there's no one to patch up the folks he's trying not to kill.]

video;
You've already identified yourself as Megatron, and myself as Perceptor. I doubt very much anyone bearing my designation would be at all interested in anything you've decided to put onto the proverbial table.
video;
That is so very Autobot of you. [So very keen on making judgments--not that Megatron was one to talk, himself.]
Going to deny without hearing me out then?
It would be a pity for you to miss out on this technology...
Unless you really want to leave it in control of us Decepticons?
video;
You can speak, if you wish. As, given that I am an Autobot, rather than one of your kind, it would hardly be within my faction specifications to deny one the freedom of speech, wouldn't it?
Your attempt at subversion is duly noted.
video;
As much as I'd prefer every piece of help that I can get in building a portal to return stranded mechs to their homes, [himself first,] I do not require it from you.
It could be beneficial to all. There is that.
But if working beside a Megatron is so abhorrent to you, than continue as you were.
video;
You do not require the use of an intellect capable of reviving not only the entire Teletraan-1 network... I see.
I fully intend to continue as I was. I have a habit of doing so, actually.
video;
I'm not looking out for any Autobots. I could care less about the citizens of this world, and it irks me to be here.
That doesn't mean that you can't benefit from what I'm doing. IF you are as good as you say you are, the work would go faster, and these warning we're all receiving about the dangers of not having a Glyph would be rendered moot.
[He grins a pointed-tooth grin.] Plus, it would expedite my own departure. Surely a benefit.
video;
And while, yes, I am as good as I say, seeing as I've little reason to brag to a Decepticon, such as yourself, I'd be curious to know exactly where you've heard a supposed warning about Glyphless.
[Because as far as he's aware, only Magnus knew.]
Your departure to a time and place of your choosing, I expect.
video;
[He snorts.]
All the questions you can ask, and that is what you are concerned about? Those Firstforged of yours made an invitation to ask questions, and discussed it openly. Anyone can, and has, already heard.
And yes.
I intend to return to the point at which I was pulled from.
video;
Indeed. It was a matter of some importance, regarding security and loose lips or what have you.
And what "point" in your already mangled timeline would that be?
video;
[It sounded suspect...and he was already suspicious of the Firstforged, given what he'd been hearing about mechs vanishing.]
Just after the burning of Kaon.
If that does not happen in your universe, then from what I've heard it occurs before the official beginning of the war. [Which is funny to him, because he'd thought he'd been starting the war when he'd burned down a city. That it takes longer than that...is curious.]
video;
Ah, I see. You wish to return to the site of arson. How very charming. Not that Kaon was worth much of anything, after you'd gotten through with it. Regardless.
Do you honestly expect us to take you at your word?
video;
[But this Perceptor being from a similar universe is, at least, oddly comforting.]
No. I don't expect you to take me at my word, but it's not in my nature to not try to ask simply because it is difficult. You won't trust me, and that...
...is healthy around a Megatron.
However, in this endeavor I find sincerity to be a useful tool. I do intend to return to my home. I don't care what is done with the portal after I leave.
If you have a better idea, then I am listening.
video;
[The words are distasteful -- disturbing, more like. Spat out and glowered over.]
How kind of you to compliment my continued mental health.
To return to your home and wage a war costing hundreds upon thousands of lives, if not more, I expect. In that vein, I doubt you would truly wish to hear my 'better idea', given what it ultimately has in store for you, once you access this 'portal' of yours.
video;
However, I should thank you. Your hostility towards a stranger does remind me of why I began said war in the first place.
[Because leaving the lower classes to die slowly underneath a corrupt regime does not sound particularly tasteful to him.]
I believe my portal would be better without you.
video;
[His tone implies that, yes, he knows what this Megatron means. He just had to say it.]
Because I'm reminded of centuries worth of war crimes by your basic build structure, name, and demeanor? Your world must have little tolerance indeed.
Ah, well. You're rather free to think so.
video;
[One way or another.]
How fitting. I could say the same of Autobots on my world, and they don't even have a war to hide behind. [He sneers.] You, however, are not of my world.
I can make that distinction.
Can you?
video;
However, I've seen little to differentiate you, personality-wise, from the one I'm familiar with.
You're living up rather spectacularly to his image.
