[Broadcasting from just outside Megatronus Prime's Arena][Actionspam welcome]
[It was no surprise to him that his time on this new Cybertron was going better than his last three years on an ancient one. Parts for the portal were already being gathered and assembled, nobody was directly threatening to kill him, and he'd passed his schematics out to multiple individuals who had a shot at making it work. With nothing more to do on the project, himself, he'd decided to pursue a little...entertainment, and perhaps secure a bit of additional assistance on the way.]
[Besides, this arena was actually pretty nice.]
It's been almost a decacycle, and though little has changed in how these 'Firstforged' treat us, we've already managed to accomplish enough.
Of course, if we're to become monsters as I've heard claims we will be, then those of you who are marked should get a bit of practice in beforehand, hm?
[Without a further word, a bright purple glow illuminates the screen for a moment as Megatron unsheathes his energon mace from his hand-socket and gives it a whirl.]
I have a meeting with one or two already, so this message is for the rest...
Do you think you have what it takes, to go tread to tread with a Megatron?
[He'll be waiting.]
Locked to Overlord
This goes double, for you.
[Yes, he knows you are in a prison and all. However, he doesn't suspect that's going to stop you, if the rumors he has heard are true.]
Locked to Barricade and Ambulon
As it helps to be prepared, I could use the assistance of a medic. Willing to lend a hand?
[Although it's phrased as a question, he expects at least one of you to be there. Otherwise, he might get...cranky. You know. If there's no one to patch up the folks he's trying not to kill.]

[Your counter-question is revealing...and his growl does cut short, replaced by a look of intense scrutiny.]
It belongs to someone who'd better come defend it.
There's no further response from Megatronus via the Link, but a few moments later there's a flash of heat and the recently empty space next to Megatron is very suddenly occupied by a tall, dark mech.]
How right you are! I would be remiss in my duty as guardian of this region to leave my arena to be ruled by someone who has yet to prove his competence to me.
I am Megatronus Prime.
[And it should go without saying that he's not flattered by anyone borrowing his name until they demonstrate some amount of skill.]
[Action]
It is to his credit, however, unexpected actions within the arena are awarded with unexpected reactions. He is a Megatron, and he's only survived by being the best.
Thus, of course, his first movement (after being sufficiently horrified) is to swing his mace immediately toward the threat. Possibly while screaming. Aggrivatedly.]
[Action]
Megatronus, for his part, hadn't been expecting quite such a volatile reaction and doesn't make a move to evade the swing. His Acolytes are well used to their lord's habit of phasing in and out of existence around them. Even if he had expected immediate retaliation, he probably wouldn't have moved out of the way: there's no better method to find out how hard your opponent hits than to take one.
To Megatron's credit, it's a great deal harder than the last Refugee the Prime tangled with.
The mace impacts against his side armor with a resounding clang, but it's not nearly enough to cave it in. He doesn't waste effort on a responding war cry. Megatronus simply rears back then ducks low, aiming to headbutt the smaller mech.]
[Action]
It is likely the first time that his mace has not done considerable damage with so solid of a hit, and it's also the first-time he's needed to re-think his strategy so quickly on the fly. Normally, he has at least the few moments while his opponent enters the ring to get a grip on them. Now, he has only seconds before the counter-attack comes, a larger helm dipping to impact on him.
He doesn't move in time, and the hit is stronger than he wanted it to be, jarring circuitry.
This won't be a battle of strength for him, then. Megatronus is more heavily armored, and just as fast, and bigger...but that also means that Megatron's got a better chance of getting between those plates...which is what he does, now, tightening his free hand into a spear to aim for the other's neck.]
Finally. [He is satisfied with this. He's satisfied with having a fight he might actually lose.]
[Action]
Going for Megatronus' internals is a risky move. He'll let Megatron find out why, if he can hit his mark before the Prime backs out of range.]
Normally I wouldn't bother, but I understand the sentiment.
[He, of course, considers the outcome of this match inevitable. He's never lost to a Refugee before. Only rarely can they match even half the power of a Firstforged.
There are only so many times in a week he can goad Prima into a fight without appearing to be nothing more than a perpetual malcontent and weakening his position on those occasions he does have a point, however. Besides, even if they don't win, fighting the lesser mechs isn't necessarily a waste of time. Some of them use unconventional tactics, some of them have fighting styles he's unfamliar with, and some of them are just plain fun to manhandle. Whether or not this one gives him a true challenge, he's enjoying the workout.]
